Dog cruelty is terrible. Beating your wife is worse. Raping someone is yet worse. And shooting someone in your house with a loaded shotgun tops them all.

I think training dogs to kill other dogs for fun is worse than getting into an altercation with your spouse.

I can't believe Jason Kidd is being vindicated in this thread for beating his wife just so you can make a point about what a person does to a dog. I love dogs, I've had 2 of them and I've never once laid a hand on my dog and would never dream of doing what Qyntel has done. At the same time, just like Kobe Bryant cheated on his wife while forcing a girl to have sex with him was forgiven and like Jason Kidd was forgiven for beating his wife, why can't Woods be given a second-chance.

I am looking at this,not with a clear slate) but with the idea that Woods was probably a 21 year old guy when this happened and thats a pretty young person(yes he shouldn't have done what he did at ANY age.) If something like this at the age of 21 or 22 doesn't give people a second chance then WHEN do people GET second chances in life.

I'm not excusing Kidd's actions...but I do understand the need to put the smack down on the old lady once in awhile, they can get REALLY annoying! I mean if I come home after work and there's no dinner on the table and I ask where the F is my dinner she better have a good answer. That was my only point there.

So, because Q has a nasty spot on his record, he is not entitled to be part of the NBA? Or play for the Knicks. What if it was self-immolation as Vin Baker took part in? Then is he not worthy. What if he was a drug dealer thug? I can name a certain MVP caliber player that was dragged from the jail cell to play for GTown. Is he unworthy of the NBA? I rather have a dog-beater than a wife beater or a drugdealer on my team. Fact of the matter is that Q cost himself more money than most of us will make in the next 5 years by this sadistic escapade. But, he is not in jail and he is available to play. Put a jersey on him and keep and eye on him. If he screws up, put him in the dogpound with a porkchop tied to his groin. Otherwise, I hope he puts up 15 and 7 with 1.5 steals and 3.5 assists.

There's a HUGE difference b/w Premeditated, Longterm, CASUAL starvation of animals ..... and aggravated assault on your wife.

It may be different in court. But in the context of life, one is far more sick than the other.

Two grown adults? Don't down play spousal abuse as a equal opportunity affair. It is by far more disgusting than Ralph threating Alice 'to the moon'. No one is saying the Q didn't act sadistically, but we are asking, by comparison to other stupid acts by NBA ballers, when do you look past. When do you re-sign Eddie Griffin? When do you forget rape charges? When do you overlook domestic violence? Drug abuse? Drug dealing? Murder charges? What about Carmelo's thug life video? When do you draw the line and why has Q crossed it but not the myriad of classless folk paid millions for our personal amusement?

Dude, just think about it for a second. Beating your wife may be a more violent single act, but in the large scheme of things, it's not sadistic. It's cruel.

Casually starving ANYTHING OR ANYONE over a period of months and then pitting them against each other in a casual manner to make money is on par with Hitler starving and demoralizing the Jews and making them work for him.

I just heard from my guy that the workout went "extremely well" and Qyntel is expected to sign Tuesday morning.
