The Post mentioned Tim Thomas if he gets waived. Possible.

Do you imagine that!? At this point I don't know what to think but we do need some scoring punch from the SF...

The fact that LB said he would be getting alot of minutes if he were here sounds like there is definitely interest.

Dont the knicks had to wait a year before they could sign him?

Nah. Remember when Gary Payton was traded last year and waived and resigned by the Celtics?

I really wouldn't be surprised at all if it were Jermaine Jackson. For some reason he seems like a guy LB would want on the team. I don't know why, but he just does.

just checked out hoopshype, LB favorite Darvin Ham is currently a free agent.

Kedrick Brown is a decent end of the bench prospect.
the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

He said that recently? Anyway, with the options we have at SF, I can't blame Brown for thinking that. He wouldn't be a bad pickup if he came here to really play. I will no longer care if he hasn't reached his potential, I only care about those 14-16 points and 4-6 rebs he could bring.

Knight, I thought the NBA changed that rule THIS summer soley because of the Gary Payton situation last year with Boston.

This has been discussed. TT can't come to the Knicks until after he is waived. He ain't getting waived until after the trade deadline. End of story.

The thing about the guys being discussed is that they all have some history that tells us they are probably not coming here:

Spree: Ex-Knick, who may not want to come back, was traded, Dolan hates him, wants big money.

Tiny Tim: Ex-Knick, was traded. Does he really want to come here again?

Jay Will: needs to continue recovery

Frank Will: Ex-Knick, traded, cut by other teams. Is he still around? In shape?

Wally: BIG contract, Good shooting option but not the SF we need.

Jer. Jackson: Real upgrade??

I'd be surprised if they brought in either of the Williams boys or anyone like that - the Knicks already have enough projects / developing players on the team. Someone like Sprewell - a savy veteran who still has something left in the tank - makes more sense.

It might be Jalen Rose too, why did no one say that. Not a defender, but can put the ball in the hole, even at his agre. Or maybe the Kobe stopper which would make me really happy.

It's probly gonna be George Lynch or Darvin Ham or some bull**** like that.

LB wouldn't even have opened his mouth unless it was a player he was looking forward to coach...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

If Frank is in shape he can be trusted to run the team. He and Steph played well as a backcourt tandem in 04

then maybe its a young guy. And he did coach Jalen Rose before too, but maybe its a young decent player. I sure hope so, if its one of these guys whose pushing 40 I'm gonna be pissed.

well it isnt darius miles, hes out for 2 months with a knee injury.

we lost 2 games i taped which i will get to tomorrow

looking at the box, channing is still doing the same thing--hes hitting shots and not rebounding the ball 3/4 games 30+ minutes 3 rebounds. Im almost about to consider him a 3. We need a roughneck rebounder. James is back?

Q played 40 big one's today, 14 rebounds which is great--him and Ariza combined for 20--we have to have guys do that if the bigs wont.

This Frye thing has to do with positioning. As great as this guy's offenseive game is, its vitally important to get him closer to the hoop to utilize the jump hook. The shot dispertion looks like he took 2 high caliber shots, the rest long range, although it doesnt make up for defensive rebounding.

Frye's rebounding or lack of is not our problem, none of our bigs are rebounding so don't lay it Frye to do everything, JJ, Curry, AD neither one of them rebounded very well today, so it's not just Frye's responsibility, so I would be more concerned with overall team performance than just one guy, Frye is doing just finem it's the rest of team that isn't stepping up.

It's not gonna be a trade, so scrap any ludicrous ideas of Jalen Rose.
