David lee was supposed to be a lottery pick out of high school. While he might be worse off financially it is hard to say that he is worse off in his development as a player after four years of college. I also think that he will develop into a very good nba player. I have a hard time agreeing with your argument especially when you talk about big men. Curry, J. ONeal, Chandler, Kwame... all have or still are in the process of becoming players.

Have you not seen before and after pics? He was a string bean and now his head is too small for his body.

Sometimes kids get stronger as they mature physically. He came to the league out of HIGH SCHOOL. Very few high school males are full grown

Example of what I mean -

Emeka Okafor will continue to fine-tune his game, but he's already putting up 15 and 10. His ceiling is probly not much more than that.

Dwight Howard, on the other hand, is putting up consistent 10 and 10's now, but we all know in a few years he's going to be a consistent 25 and 12.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I disagree. I think Emeka is going to be averaging around 23 and 12 not too long from now. I think by the end of this year you see him posting alot of games that include that statline.

^ That's not the popular opinion.

I think the unanonymous POV is that Howard will become a beast in a few years, and Okafor will keep his stride of around 15-20 and 10 throughout most of his career. Probly won't be that much distance statistically, but the dominance factor is what will end up separating them...

I don't know what your basing some of your predictions on Bobs.

You apparently don't need supportive data to find out what you really know either.

Sorry to say I see very little upside in Bobs-he already knows everything and refuses to accept the fact that there is a small possibility that he may be wrong or that someone else may have a point. He may have a bigger upside on a percentage basis (from what he already is) than many of us but may never acquire the skills to reach it. Gee- that sounds like an analogy between a high school player and a college player.
