His donation is not 1.5mil. Its 500k to a million.

Chad talking about his on court persona and lockerroom attitude. this is still a dude that was insobordinate to his coaching staff last year.

This donation is a nice PERSONAL jesture and goes a long way towards bonding with fans.

Its been a resonable question to ask if the two can get along. its also good media fodder.

Personally I would not be so quick to judge sizes of gifts. There is a long term need for money. I am blown away by some of the corperate support they are giving to employees in the area regarding relocation support and money for hotels, etc! This can be very very expensive.

I have made my red cross donation, but I also set up a monthly bank draft and am looking into the N.O. united way! These folks rely on local donations and will be hard pressed to find money in the coming years!
