If you needed a 2 who could play some 3 for the next 2 to 3 seasons - contracts aside who would you rather have?

No, you were swaying the opinion of people who hadn't voted yet. If you had waited until everybody had voted and then expressed your opinion, you'd be right but you were arguing for Q by the 4th post on the thread. And then you continued doing so after every pro-Finley post.

Again, do you always try to sway people in your own polls and consider it to be "unbiased"?

Again, how many of the Q votes were from Knicks fans?
I was swaying the votes? So I guess you do think I'm extremely persuasive and your 6 to 1 Finley to Q ratio would have been achieved without my opinion statement. I'll take that as a compliment. You could simply post a reply asking how many people were swayed but my opinion, but if people said they weren't, I supposed you could always claim they were lying.

We're quite full of ourselves today aren't we? Personally I think it's more a by product of Knicks fans voting in that poll. Probably including yourself. It would hardly be above you since you like to attempt to sway people in your own "unbiased" polls.

Apparently you don't think too much of yourself if you don't think you can sway a few undecided's into voting for Q over Finley. See, they're voting for Q, not you. Big difference. Of course I'm only thinking that you might have swayed 1 or 2 votes Q's way. Add that to the handful of Knicks fans and it's getting pretty close to 6-1, don't you agree? Of course, if you want to argue that it's really closer to 5-1, I'll stipulate since the point has been made.

Oh, back to your methodology on poll taking. Do you always believe that it's appropriate to attempt to sway people to vote the way you want them to vote?

And if you didn't think that you could sway votes in the direction that you wanted them to go, why comment on that poll thread at all?

Only if he could have gotten more Gore voters to come out and vote for Gore.

your argument is based on nothing but baseless speculation. The following are speculated: (a) I influenced people's votes, (b) the voting would have been closer to 6 to 1 had I not influenced them, (c) a high proportion of Knick fans were voting (which is odd considering there are many anti-Knick fans posting at realgm).
I don't try to bias polls. I do give my opinion just like everyone can do and ideally would do. It creates good discussion. The way to get evidence for points (a) and (c) would be to ask people at realgm in that thread what team they root for (point c) and whether their vote was influenced by my or anyone else's arguments (point a). The way to get evidence for point (b) is to post a poll without offering anyone's opinion on another forum. You prefer to speculate without evidence, though. That's your right and it's cool, but it gets much less weight than speculation based on evidence.

a) I influenced people's votes

It's blatantly obvious that you attempted to.

b) the voting would have been closer to 6-1 had I not influenced them

If you influenced a single vote, doesn't that make it closer to 6-1 than if you hadn't influenced the vote?

c) a high proportion of Knicks fans were voting

I never said "a high proportion" or anything like that. I gave you the benefit of the doubt there and said a handful. A "high proportion" would be the poll on this site.

Again, if you didn't think that you could sway votes in the direction you wanted them to go, then why say anything on that poll thread?

Of course you don't try to bias polls, you just argue every person that votes against the way you want the poll to go. But no, that's not trying to bias a poll. Right.

Speaking of baseless speculation, you're the one using that poll as some kind of scientific evidence without knowing how many people voting were Knicks fans (that was the point, wasn't it?) and attempting to bias the poll. It certainly wasn't me.

I am quite technologically evolved. I over thought the process to post pictures prior.
