good point about posada not bein able to handle aj's pitches in the dirt. im just not that confident we have enough bats to win this one. if lee's stuff is nasty again, we're sunk b/c like you said cano is nowhere to be found and taking away two bats (aj and molina) will only leave us 6 in the line-up that can hit until either lee's tank empties or aj's does. its the perfect 'get away' game for the yanks too. not saying theyre gonna try to lose and i by all means i'd like to wrap it up tonight so its done, but i cld easily see this going 6 and winning it back home against pedro on wednesday.

no way i give the ball to gaudin. it's the world series. all those stats get thrown out the window. you play to win. pitching guadin is the equivalent to throwing in the towel and sends a bad message to the team. you can't afford to give away anything.

last nite after we won u could see the disappointment on both their faces... it was a beautiful thing.

btw, i'm thinking i might wanna start Eric Hinske in RF to give us a little pop in the bottom of the order.

Swisher really needs to come through tonight, cuz he's protecting ARod in the lineup... u know they're not gonna give ARod anything to hit & after Swish there's no one else who's really hitting or a threat to do big damage... Cano's scuffling big time & we can't rely on Gardner or Molina to do much vs. Cliff Lee, so Swisher really needs to step up tonight & make them pay for pitching around ARod.
