![]() i watched the same rockets vs clippers game as well. Lin is acknowleged and loved by his teammates.
houston has a real problem though...dwight and asik on the court on the same time doesnt work. however they dont have a stretch 4 either. therefore theyre stuck playing beverly, lin and harden at the same time. (or maybe they were just trying to match up with the clips Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

It's not a bad problem to have but they're going to have to move one of them, and I assume it will be Asik. I like Dwight and think Morey is very good at his job but I think they should have kept Asik and gone after Millsap. |

![]() Teams when the figure out what they need will be more willing to make deals to get a commodity like Asik.
With the new CBA your have more player movement and it takes time for teams to gel. Like the Nets. More parity in the NBA now and more will happen. THis is what a hard cap does. Look to the NHL and NFL. Even Baseball is starting to take hold with Oakland and Pittsburg making the post season while the Yankees and Angels did not. |

![]() What impressed me about the Pacers last night was how they were able to power through their mistakes. if someone made a bad shot on one end, you might see a steal or a block on the other, or a clutch shot the next time on offense. It's not like other teams don't do that. It's the way they snap out of any drifting the team does in a game, with a vengeance. Miami should be worried.

Yep, Asik played great for them last season- I don't think Dwight is going to be THAT much of an upgrade. I think they'll trade Asik to the hawks for Jeff Teague, then shift Lin for a PF upgrade. |

I really don't like the new cba. I think if a team has a good system and invests in uncovering diamonds in the rough, I don't think it's fair that they then have to relinquish any discoveries to lesser teams who don't bother with scouting, because the cba stops them from being able to offer a decent contract. |

![]() Lin and Asik is getting traded. This will happen. Will Dolan change his mind and let Knicks trade for him and Asik?

Someone here posted some numbers they got the the Rockets board and you can see that this is true. Asik is not working out as the Twin Towers. Teams have figured out their weakness. They should not start them or use them in long stretches. Asik is not happy and I believe has asked his agent to talk to Morey already. Lin and Asik here for say Bargs and Felton would be great. |

I also read a post where someone said Harden and the Rockets seem to be extra hard on Lin. Not sure if you posted it or someone else. I think Asik is the key for the Knicks. I also think the Knicks will move Shump soon. He has some value and hasn't developed in NY. Also, with Hardaway and JR they are set at the two. I wonder what package would get Lin/Asik. Also, as you and others have said, did Lin earn the wrath of Dolan? If so the deal doesn't happen.CrushAlot wrote:NYKBocker wrote:Lin and Asik is getting traded. This will happen. ![]() Lin is never coming back to the knicks cuz dolan hates him
Asik fits the same role as tyson...who will be back in 20gms Rockets need a stretch four. Asik for ryan anderson would be nice Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. ![]() callmened wrote:What do folks think of jwall? I think hes overated and overpaid It sounds odd, but I've never really noticed him whenever I've watched a Wizards game. David Falk also took the very unusual step of blasting him to the media last season. I'm not sure people rate him highly, but he is overpaid. Unfortunately, as Falk pointed out, players get rewarded for potential rather than fundamentals, so guys like Wall and Tyreke Evans go big contracts this offseason for accomplishing next to nothing so far. |

![]() callmened wrote:What do folks think of jwall? I think hes overated and overpaid I take him as one of those guys that came in with big hopes and now he will not reach them, though he will still feature and be a #1 player on his team for many years. Not a world beater, but not trash. A decent #1 on a decent team, imo. The Will, check out the Official Home of Will's GameDay Art: http://tinyurl.com/thewillgameday

I love harden, but dude is going to have to play better on the wings defensively.. end of story.. They have size, skill and no one is looking to score, they as a team look for the best shot. they are methodical on offense and stingy on defense...
