The lack of effort part was him not getting back on defense after the turnover. WHen you have 3 team members getting back on defense to try and stop the score after your turnover I think you can count his slight jog back as a lack of effort. He was near the ball since he turned it over and by the time the other team scored he had just passed the half court line.

Pistons and Spurs looking like in a class of their own.

Well ahead of time and well ahead of the rest.

I would add OKC to that list when healthy

Name a more iconic duo than Randle and effort issues after he gets his contract.

Don't let ToddTT see this.

Looks a lot like he had a clear path to the rim, and took his eye off the ball a split second before catching it. Too eager to make his move.

So a turnover, but not for lack of effort.

But if I was a Randle-hater I would probably see it as lack of effort too.

IOW, you see that as a Randle-lover and think to yourself: Great Effort!

The lack on effort was not when he turned it over. That can just happen, whatever. It's whet he did after. Like a Babe Ruth walking to the home base after a Grand slam.

What some see as Randle not hustling to get back on defense, I see as Randle not wasting effort to defend the rim when Maxey is already way ahead of him, as well as three teammates.

Randle isn't stopping Maxey here, possibly the fastest player in the league.

But the post makes for great clickbait, and also faults him for dropping the pass, which fills Randle haters with glee! Wheeeeeeeeeee!

If you really wanna hate... where the hell is DDV?!?

We need to stay in the 2/3 side of the playoff bracket. If we do, I think we have a real chance at winning the title— not just coming out of the East. Just got through watching the rock-fight that was DEN-OKC and there is no way those two teams don't meet in the playoffs and no way they don't get themselves eventually suspended or injured. All we need to do on our end, is avoid DET until the Conference Finals and we'll be golden. I think SAS can/will be a spoiler but can't imagine them being healthy long enough to make a difference.

So , basically it was great decision making on Randles part not to hustle back. Never mind that sometimes guys get blocked, miss etc. Great take, why didn't I think of that :)

Harden out, Donovan out. They take Piston to OT. Dumb ****ing move by Tyson to foul Jenkins. They had a foul to give but the kid hoisted a shot up and he got 3. Not saying the don't still tie it up, but they made it easy.
Duran hung 33.
Cade fouled out in regulation.
Pistons that "It" team I always fear. Seems CLT is the other on the rise. They are currently better than their record.
PIstons doing the wire to wire thing but not playoff tested. They have yet to win a series. Not saying as a fan to take anything for granted.
Could not take Cav's slow start for granted. But.....Can't they can't take their health for granted either.
Embiid could mess up a team iin the first round before he breaks down. PG13 is resting. Not saying they can go deep, but that is a team that can be problematic early.
Boston? Another suprise. Can we at least give them credit for NOT tanking whe it was assumed? Props to Mazzula. He'll get COY considerations.
Knicks are Solid. Nobody will feel easy about anything nor should we.

We in the age of Parity. The playoffs will be like a tournament. We don't have to beat all the teams in the east. Shit happens. We could also get upset. Think of all the fun y'all will have venting things out of context to sooth the pain.

Speaking of the Hawks:
https://lukekornet.medium.com/concerning-the-atlanta-hawks-0f07c62ea65e

Personally I don't know what to make of it, I know social media suppose to be were we lay into something but this one just got me shaking my head. On one hand you have a sleezy business full of all kinds of nasty elements. But you also have some high end professonals who are not subject to abuse or exploitation.

Personally I never heard of the place. I do recall Ewing got caught up having to testify he was given sexual favors at the famed "Gold Club" in Atlanta. "Two blow jobs while others watched".
via internet:

"The Gold Club was one of the most prominent strip clubs in Atlanta. It was located on Lindbergh Road. Owner Steve Kaplan was the subject of a 14 week trial in 2001 after prosecutors alleged that the club was used for prostitution, money laundering, bribery and credit card fraud."

So its not like these and perhaps so many others don't have this reputation as well.
Its just weird as hell Hawks go there.
