The Athletic just released their 23' NBA tier list:

Brunson made 3B slotted between Zion(!) and Lauri M.

Randle is in 4B between Brook Lopez and Franz Wagner

Quickley got to 5A between D'Angelo Russell and Kevin Huerter

Grimes is also ranked 5A as well between Luguenz Dort and RJ

Barrett is ranked 5A between Grimes and Alpernen Sengun.

The biggest surprise for me was RJ ranked below Grimes. Considering last season

Giannis, Curry, Jokic, were 1A

I'm not the biggest Randle fan, but he should not be a tier below KP, Lauri or even Siakam. Those guys are pretty much in the same tier, maybe a small argument Pascal should be higher.

I agree he should be on the same tier as those guys. I think Lauri has an argument for being the best out of that group though. We'll see how he does this year but he the best and most adaptable offensive weapon IMO.

The thing with Lauri is that he's only done it for one season. Partnow when describing why he dinged Randle listed his playoff performance and iso ball play as reasons for his ranking. But he puts KP ahead of him who is a guys who also flamed out on lower usage in Dallas and also has a history of uninspiring playoff performances. He also has a history of not being injury prone. I don't think Lauri has even been in the playoffs. A lot of Partnow's reasoning seems arbitrary
