CC getting out of that jam was huge... looks like Melky just pulled a hamstring on that last groudout... we'll probably see Gardner in the bottom of the inning in CF

yeah, Jorge messed up the transfer to his throwing hand when he went to try to throw out Howard at 2B... that's his bad... i don't blame him for not coming up w/Damon's throw tho, it was gonna be a bang bang play & Damon's patented 10 bounce throws to home are not easy to catch w/a beast like Ryan Howard bearing down on you... Damon's gotta hit Jeter on the cut off, then we get Howard out by a mile.

yep, Melky tweaked that hammie... Gardner in... i hope he gets more playing time, i think he can add something we've been missing all postseason... haven't been running hardly at all in these playoff games.

Utley again. Expand the damn strikezone on this friggin' guy with two strikes. At least that one was on a breaking ball -- Utley's 2 HRs the other night and the double off the wall early were all on fastballs...CC done, into the bullpen now..

Marte's turned into a real weapon for us now in these lefty matchups...Really throwing the ball well with renewed confidence. Gotta give Joe some credit for sticking with this guy when nobody else saw it...
