They're very good. I don't think it's going to work in the long-term to have Asik and Howard on the floor together but they have plenty of time to make a trade.

soooo... anybody watch the brooklyn game last night?
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I think the Heat's time is up - Wade is too old. I know it's only 3 games into the season but I felt this way in last year's playoffs too. It's just that no one was ready to surpass the Heat, especially since Westbrook was out. I think OKC, maybe Houston, and maybe some other teams can do it this year.

I dare you to post this comment in a Raptors' forum. I bet they'd all say that his physical conditioning is not the issue.

This team seems to bring it when it needs to.

Yes, one day it will run its coarse. My guess is teams with big payroll will hold back and keep it fresh for the playoffs.

Anyteam is one ankle sprain away from being eliminated and wade is running on fumes. But when he is feeling it, he is still very good! Very good.

Lakers are such a boring ass team. They're going to struggle through another below .500 season. Yes, 1 win, 2 losses every other few games. Jim Buss is a clown.

I think the thunder have peaked- lost harden then k-mart, and everyone's acting as if that won't effect them. The west is uncertain at the moment.

A few of door mat teams are rising up Minn, Detroit once Jennings comes back ,Cleveland once Andrew Bynum can play NBA MINUTES.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I agree, I thought Wade looked fine but Bron didn't play with his usual energy that is infectious...I think the Heat turns it on and off and they aren't done yet..But the Nets are for real...I wasn't a believer because KG and Pierce looked really slow in last year's playoffs..Maybe they will wear down again, but the Nets will have something to say before it's all said and done...The Nets are big and the Heat doesn't do big well...

i think their ceiling is pretty high. very enjoyable and dramatic game. i think once ak47 works himself back into game shape he should be the first guy off the bench... unless lopez cannot stay out of foul trouble in which case it has to be blatche-- who didn't look too bad.

interesting that jvg wondered whether they would gel. i mean of course it is a question for many teams each year but i don't see how this team won't gel-- and when they do they are going to be truly formidable. amazingly, only pierce played more than 27 minutes! i think his minutes will go down too once kirilenko is back all the way.

I think wade has it on cruise control a bit. I see miami winning less games, they want to be fresh for playoffs.. and if wade is just healthy miami is still team to beat.... I would not say wade is too old at all.. not yet at least.. lol

shawn livingston made a nice strong move to the hoop last night and I was like, wow, haven't seen that in a while from him.... they are deep and talented.....

truth be told i have only a vague recollection of him but you're right he looked pretty darn good out there. thing is with any among pierce or garnett or kirlenko out there with him, he won't have the burden of having to orchestrate. i did not take mental notes of who among those three was out there with livingston last night but i think this should be kidd's approach.

i know you don't get YES network where you are but on the YES network after the game it was really kind of cool to hear garnett talk about the game and his teammate pierce, whom garnett referred to as "a picasso out there on the floor."

i have had my doubts about whether joe johnson would buy in but he also looked veerrry comfortable out there.

I get the yes postgame with directv, but I am dropping them again for dish.. anyway..... the thing with pierce and Garnett they bring credibility to the nets, a winning vibe, a professional approach. I don't think the nets problem will be meshing, but injuries and age... but they seem to have enough depth and youth, so it should be interesting to follow all year..
