![]() too bad Jordan did or pippin shush them. That **** was low.
I would have figured after watching the last dance things would have been cleared up. Jordan was cooked, Pippen wanted money, and Phil was burnt out. That was a hell of a run, 6 chips in 8 years. Phil was there 9 seasons. announcer said "thats not Chicago, thats NY or Philly". Fuck that, I'd hope MSG would not do that. Philly boo'd Santa clause so maybe. Krause did an amazing job there. Not perfect and Jordan was a gift of course, but he hired Phil which took balls as he had no head coach experience in the NBA. And that run sustained thru two rebuilds which the GM should get some cred. Was Jordans ego outsized. You bet. Was Krause? Sure, he wanted some acknowledgment. Also its known the owner,Krause and Phil all agreed one more year and that was it. Last dance also depicted it was time to shut it down. Maybe never losing a final was a way to also cement the legacy? Krause was not perfect but to boo him and to his wife was disgusting. |

![]() Burks with 34 last night. His 3 pt shooting has picked up lately. Have to think a lot of teams are gonna be targeting him

Have to think a lot of teams are gonna be targeting him Alec is hitting about 40% from three, but his numbers in the paint are bad. I think he's still a useful player but he's not getting much value in return. I could see the Pistons thinking they're just better off keeping him. Always... always remember: Less is less. ![]() Tweet was deleted or there was problem with the URL: Notice anything with Quick? Still having a problem breaking down D of good defensive teams. This is still the regular season so they are not even gameplanning yet. His 3pt shooting also seems to depends a lot on how comfortable the defense is letting him be. Whenever teams pressure him or don't let him break down the defense his 3pt shooting also suffers. That is why he shot 18% last playoffs. We still need him off the bench but this is why I don't go crazy everytime he has a good game against a bad team or poor defending team. For me it is all about the playoffs. |

Teams want those 3 to try and beat them from outside. It would be the same situation as in the playoff last season. It would be fine if Quicks 3pt shooting did not also tank once he is not allowed to be comfortable on offense. You can live with 1 negative. You can't live with both, especially is you are going to start paying him 25mil plus a season. Edit: For those who do not understand, I added RJ because we are talking about what would happen if we did not complete the trade. |

Would be very interesting to pick up someone like Isiah Stewart as well as Burks, but not sure we have the right deal. Would have to be something like Fournier/Grimes/Sims. They get another veteran to come off the bench, a young wing with defensive chops and a flier on another big guy. Think it makes some sense for both teams, but Stewart's contract may make it impossible to keep Hartenstein long term. |

Heck, even McBride compared Schroeder. It was Quick's second playoff series so I won't go to crazy. The thing I did notice is that IQ is still struggling with his playmaking. His role of the bench was simplifies. He would just shot the fadeaway or the floater. He seemed to be overthinking what to and the Celts did a good job of putting him no man's land. All said, I agree the trade made sense and I'm looking forward from here on out. If Quick turns out to be a busy, then so be it. That's what they get for sticking us with Malachi Flynn. ![]() Clean wrote:Tweet was deleted or there was problem with the URL: Clean, I am with you on this. IMHO, this is one of those ceiling things with IQ. He can be a really good player but as a PG with the ball in his hands, one of the things you ask of that position is breakdown ability and I don't think IQ has that at a high enough level. Additionally, his handle or dribble drive is not yet good enough. Yet. Often enough, he doesn't know what to do when he gets into the heart of the defense. I can't tell if that's decision-making, handle or what. Maybe he figures it out, maybe he does not. Official sponsor of the PURE KNICKS LOVE Program

A combo of B Brown, Obi and J Smith works for salaries and then you have the 3 picks. If that is basic deal Pacers still have nice young pieces PF Walker, Mathurin, Nesmith, I Jackson and Nebhart - to go along with Hali, Siakim, Turner, Hield & McConnell. I do wonder about Hali’s body holding up long term - such a pencil. |
