Semi high hopes for Keels as a potential draft steal now blowing in the wind right along with hundreds of other missed picks we’ve made.

Never had high hopes for the guy. His ceiling was a poor man’s Ray Felton

Camp about to start, October is here... Still hoping the Knicks get a stretch 4 vet for situational minutes. Danilo Galinari for the Obi TPE and a second or two, we have that conditional Miami one this year and an other from Utah/Cleveland, just saying

Haven't really seen him play lately, but would Blake be a terrible choice for 10 mins a night?

Think Blake has retired or is on that edge of doing so. He looked gassed last time I saw him for a hot minute

Was never a fan of Blake, I know on the nets he was your generic vet on the bench. I don't think Blake gives what the Knicks need. Not alot of vets with real winning experience on that list. I remember both Stanley and Justice played well as role players in their second go round as role players and not lotto picks. James Johnson is probably the closest to winning vet on the list as your gonna get but not sure of his worth other than his defense and black belt. I always like TJ Warren, injuries keep messing him up. Green is a solid rotational big who can play the 4 or 5 and shoot a little from 3. Maybe the best fit.

^ Yeah, I literally think that Knicks are going to roll with what they got and won't fill that backup PF spot until thinks shake out with Fournier.

And that means trade deadline.

RJ, Hart, Jericho will fill in the backup bigs minutes

One shouldn't have to do with the other. You can get a PF without it having anything to do with Evan

Trade the TPE and a protected second for Danilo. If it doesn't work out you release him

I think Justice can still play. He's just hurt all the time. Even if he stayed healthy with a 5s that never leaves the paint and our more offensive style, I don't know if he could be effective. I'd still take a shot at him as an end-of-the-bench guy. He's always been a good defender, he's a good ball handler/decision-maker and can play make on the break or short roll. He's just a really poor shooter to match with our 5s and we really don't use guys in the short roll etc.

I would too. Not so sure about This. I've seen orange cones play better defense than the rooster. He's really bulked up over the years.

Maybe Isiah Roby is the guy. Whenever a team is really good a player or two comes out of nowhere to play a surprise role. He might be our low risk high reward find

That’s because the only thought you have is immediately filling the backup PF spot and haven’t taken an iota of time to engage beyond that one thought, right?

It’s repetitively kinda pointless convo?

Let's hope. Sims did better than I expected guarding the perimeter, but he was still bad. I'd have no problem with Hart playing spot minutes at the four in small lineups. But the size disparity worries me.

You mean the Knicks couldn't have gotten a back up PF independently of Evan Fournier to protect the team Incase of injury for a minimal investment. I mean the Lakers signed Christian Wood for the min. I don't get your point otherwise. If you find it pointless why spend your time pointing that out ??? Your free to discuss what you like and so am I.
