Think Blake has retired or is on that edge of doing so. He looked gassed last time I saw him for a hot minute

Was never a fan of Blake, I know on the nets he was your generic vet on the bench. I don't think Blake gives what the Knicks need. Not alot of vets with real winning experience on that list. I remember both Stanley and Justice played well as role players in their second go round as role players and not lotto picks. James Johnson is probably the closest to winning vet on the list as your gonna get but not sure of his worth other than his defense and black belt. I always like TJ Warren, injuries keep messing him up. Green is a solid rotational big who can play the 4 or 5 and shoot a little from 3. Maybe the best fit.

I think Justice can still play. He's just hurt all the time. Even if he stayed healthy with a 5s that never leaves the paint and our more offensive style, I don't know if he could be effective. I'd still take a shot at him as an end-of-the-bench guy. He's always been a good defender, he's a good ball handler/decision-maker and can play make on the break or short roll. He's just a really poor shooter to match with our 5s and we really don't use guys in the short roll etc.

Trade the TPE and a protected second for Danilo. If it doesn't work out you release him

I would too. Not so sure about This. I've seen orange cones play better defense than the rooster. He's really bulked up over the years.

You mean the Knicks couldn't have gotten a back up PF independently of Evan Fournier to protect the team Incase of injury for a minimal investment. I mean the Lakers signed Christian Wood for the min. I don't get your point otherwise. If you find it pointless why spend your time pointing that out ???
