Ive been fascinated by flight simulators/VR since I was a kid. Read up on it. But I have yet to buy a 3D system or VR goggles because the tech still wasnt there.
For the first time I've found a system worth getting. The Apple Vision Pro. https://www.apple.com/apple-vision-pro/ Watch the demo film. Its not full immersion VR, but it still looks like a game changer. Apple patented the technology and have been secretly working on these goggles since 2007. Really cannt afford one ($3499) but I might sell some stuff I dont use to get one next year. They look that good. |

I just started season #1 and it's good. Never read the books, but I might start. It6 easy to see that a lot of elements from Dune were inspired by this and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite sci-fi series at least until we get any upcoming seasons/mini-series/movies from the Expanse universe. Be warned, the first few episodes are dense.
Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.

In 69 years there are now 37 Godzilla movies. This one seems to be a total reboot and takes it to 1945. Looks horrifying given the Atomic detonation of Nagasaki and Hiroshima that is the back drop of the plot.

Man... This documentary is so infuriating. This guy is such a scumbag and it's clear he still doesn't realize the ramifications of his actions.
