Fatigue is not an excuse for someone like Melo. Especially at the FT line with a series on the line, that's his role and job. MrEarl already addressed Prayer Shots which is so weak that Mutombo would have swatted that **** right back in your face and made you a part of his commercial series. ![]() At the beginning of the game I wasnt that worried about missing J.R. because we have a deep bench, but once it was clear Copeland was nowhere to be seen and Novak wasn't much of a factor, then you could understand the way it hurt us.
J.R. has to stay playing and Woody has to bring Copeland back into the mix. We need them both. Melo had a bad game and those missed free-throws killed any chance we had at winning in regulation. But to blame this on Melo is unfair. To be fair, the whole team missed many shots they normally make. I wouldve balanced our late attack with more Felton shots, especially since he was hot. Woody needs to maximize his bench other than trusting J.R. to be the second scorer. I must repeat, we need Copeland. He is a talented scorer who should've thrieved in last game. Knicks_Fan

Its been already stated that any player from another team can hit anybody with elbows or flagrantly except a certain Smith. Really, its so ridiculous. Had J.R. hit somebody the way Prigs was hit by Terry at one point, he would've been suspended again. Knicks_Fan

The utter lack of communication is astounding. Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

![]() Ha ha, aparantly K-mart told the Knicks to wear black for game 5 because they're going to a funeral! Hope he backs up the talk!
Also, on twitter: Amar'e is working on low-post moves & taking strong contact vs. assistant LaSalle Thompson. Then running fullcourt drills. Conditioning key. |

Hate to say it, but we could've used 10-15 minutes of Amare posting and toasting. He has tons of playoff experience, so the moment would not be too big. We'll definitely need him against Indy. |
