lebron won't let him do anything.

Rose needs a jumper plain and simple. That or he needs to get his PG skills together.

kenny the jet just said "the bulls don't have the personnel. that's why he's taking 29 shots a game."

the bulls won 60 games this year! noah and boozer missed significant time. this guy is in the conference finals at 22. he takes 1000 jumpers a day during season. he'll be fine.

Rose's PG skills just arent that good. Carlos Boozer isnt this bad. You trade Boozer to the Nets and he is back to 20 and 10. Why? Deron Williams is a PG who can get him easy/good shots.

boozer sucks on D dude, it doesn't matter how great of a PG deron williams is.

please. rose is an incredible talent. his PG skills need work but this guy is gonna be a scorer for his career -- i don't think he cares that he's 6'3 and "should" be a PG.

Rose a is a superstar. He isnt a very good PG plain and simple.

Tyreke Evans is also highly talent but Sac Town is learning the hard way that he isnt a PG.

He's played bad the whole playoffs fans weren't paying close enough attention. You can't shoot well on the other side of 20FGA 70% of the series at 35%fg eventually it will catch up to a team. He needs to develop his game to make other players around him better otherwise his whole career will be an excuse he doesn't have enough help

do you acknowledge that the bulls offensive otherwise is inept. rose plays well for 3 quarters but as a volume shooter and in the 4th quarter he gets exposed. D's clamp down and he has nobody to throw to. the couldn't even get a shot off at the buzzer. not a great offensive scheme and defensive minded players who can't create their own shot.

noah needs to develop his game more and needs his role in the offense developed. that guy is too good of a passer and ballhandler to not have more of the offense go thru him.

rose is what he is -- i obviously think he'll get better but i don't think he's going to wake up one day and be a john stockton esque pass first PG its just not the way he plays. he will however become a more efficient scorer and cut down on stupid plays and turnovers. he's an absolute freak and when they play up tempo he's lethal. the game slows down in the 4th and (A) if you're a defensive team and the other team plays better D than you, you're not going to win and (B) nobody on the bulls can create or is a big enough weapon so they put LEBRON on rose who has bottled him up. rose can't even get shots off its like a big kid playing a little kid on the playground.

If he plays more like he should play all those other players will get better. It starts with Rose...modify your game Son. The game will not change in the Playoffs. It's cute to go Bananas during the Regular Season but the Playoffs exposes inferior metals under fire. Play more conventional... pick his spots in which to hit the B/X/Y/A button, he and his team will grow if he doesn't they'll suffer the same results for the rest of his career

Sac is deliberating whether they should take Kemba Walker if he's there to slide Reke to 2 guard. Sometimes fans are stubborn as are teams

he took a team to 60 wins and the conference finals as a 22 yr old. i think he'll get better.

Derrick Rose is Allen Iverson but more of a pg. Stephon Marbury but more of a scorer. He needs to learn to be a pg and pick his spots better. right now he is a volume shooter. He shoots 36% against the heat, 40% for the playoffs. His assist numbers are a function of him always having the ball in his hands. He needs to learn to make players better. Because rIght now he doesn't.

They also need to get him a SG who's lights out. They'll find one in the draft.

yea, the problem with iverson and marbury was they couldn't share the ball. not even talking setting up but simply having a guy to shoulder some of the offensive burden. i don't think rose cares at all, which is a big difference.

when rose becomes a more efficient scorer he'll be lethal. which means less shots. which basically means keep taking the shots he's making and cut down on the silly ass plays. instead, give it up to the 2nd banana on offense. i don't think deng is that guy. i think noah could be if he really worked on his post game.

Players will only get better if they get the reps/fga. This can't be done without the ball on limited attempts. There should be games during a week Rose tells Noah before the game I'm getting you 12-15fga I don't care what you percentages are I'm getting you the rock.....Now what spots on the floor would you like to receive it. Let Thibs know this has to be done in order for the team to grow because Rose isn't going to forget how to split double teams and Somersault to the rim for a layup or cradle the pumpkin like he's Walter Payton for a reverse And1 or receive a pass in the open court for splash dunk.

What has to stop is him taking 25FGA 2/3gms. Seriously no legit point guard should ever approach games night in and night out with this mentality, but dropping double digit assist 2/3gms with low turnovers should always be the approach because if you're getting assists and not turning the ball over you're getting teammates shots making the offense that much more dangerous to contain and maximizing those possessions by not giving them away to the defense.

Things for Rose to work on

1. Dribbling skills going in all directions maximizing the space on the court....he should be like a car racing in and out of defenses with his dribbling skills

2. Passing all kinds 1 handers, bounce, needle threads, rhythm....above the rim, over the top of defenses, post entries he's mediocre in this area

3. Getting guys in spots on the floor they can succeed at, overall court direction demanding more activity from his teammates

4. Use more fundamentals to score including shooting jumpers off glass

5. Improve shot selection not all shots are good he takes..... some are downright horrific

6. Shooting less and/or picking his spots to conserve energy so he's stronger at the end of games, he has to understand his athleticism/endurance will not always been there at his beckon call

if so refcalls will have a series of evidence

The Heat winning does in some sorta way help the Knicks get better. There are only a few teams with an Amare/Melo duo already in place, so hopefully D12 and Paul are putting 2 and 2 together and will maybe have a feud on who gets to play in NY..

Go Mavs

Rose also missed clutch free throws in the NCAA Tourney which gave Chalmers and Kansas a chance to put Memphis away. Not sure if Rose has a high learning curve

I think Rose is actually an ok distributor but the Heat defense is too much. The lanes are all clogged and Lebron and Wade are playing the passing lanes. There's just not much he can do.

Against the Heat you really need to defend them well, grab the rebound and outlet quickly and get transition hoops. Attacking Heat half court you'd need a great motion offense with great personnel (Lakers). I think even OKC would have problems against the Heat.

Mavericks have a great shot tho because the Heat don't really have anyone who can defend Dirk.. I think Nick Collison defended Dirk exceptionally well and the Heat don't have anyone who can defend Dirk like Collison. Also, never count out a team that has Jason Kidd.

Rose is not the answer.

Fooking Heat were prime time last nite. The big three came up big. Wade's 4 pt play was a masterstroke!

They superfriends were also pretty cool about it not jumping around like boy band getting their first Rolex but kept it low key.

I freaking hated it.

Bulls got a taste of what Jordan and company did for so many years to others. A dagger in the heart.

Watching the offense melt down the last 3 minutes reminded me of some JVG teams where we struggled to close given offensive limitations. Not saying Thibs is JVG, or this version of the bulls are the knicks.

Can Noah hit a layup?

Heat dispensed of the Bulls in 5. That says a lot.

Noah's line about them being Hollywood was great. He was complimenting them too.

Mavs have more weapons. Hope they work. I hate when Riley has confetti sticking to his greasy head!

I kind of like what the Heat are doing lets me know that having three stars goes a long way. Knicks are on the way just need to add the third piece and a great defensive coach and watch out. Lets face it the key is having a good defense.
