Celtics really slippin. If we had been able to go 5-3 in these last 8 (win against Orlando and Detroit for example) we could be in 2nd. Anyway teams hit rough patches, just gotta work through it.

Maybe RFK jr. as health secretary won't be as bad as I thought?

Make American great again. Bring back Polio and Measles! We can make iron lungs right here in the USA!

RFK Jr is not entirely out of his mind. He has some good ideas. But the ones that are not good, are like really out there make up bull****. The end of the day perhaps Insurance companies can charge high premiums for those who refuse to use Helmets on Motorcycles, smoke (the do), are obese and those who don't take vaccines. Should be about personal choice.
Isn't that whole Freedom American thing about personal choices? If so, pay for them.

RFK jr and Dr Oz in charge of Medicare. Anyways, Todd how is you back ? My MRI revealed, I have a cyst in the lower spine, herniated disk, dehydrated disc and a bulging disk. But I've been exercising for 9 months 5-7 days a week and managing. My worst symptom is numbness in the feet but my wife recently got me some toe expanders and toe spreaders and I find that is beginning to lessen the discomfort in my feet, go figure. I better get my Covid shot, already got my regular flu shot. Getting older sucks but beats the alternative.

Nalod got a herniated disc, 4 numb toes and left leg is weak. Insurance company has been great and got me an MRI in 48 hours after request. They approved injections but I want a surgery to clean the material thats pressing on the nerve. Its a simple procedure, about 40 minutes and outpatient. Two doctors know the injection won't work given the issue and Im not down to waiting months or years for it to clear. IM limping and that will cause a domino effect on other things. Im walking like the Colin Farrell in the penguin! Bit exaggerated but I feel other leg over compensating.

A lot of people will have gnarly MRI’s, and zero back pain.

Spines suck.

Alpha keep crushing the exercise. I was doing some bridge and dead bugs during the game. Time will tell.

Nalod, good luck brother. Once it’s gone, it’s gone, but it sounds like you got multiple opinions. Sometimes that stuff shrinks over time, but yeah it can take a long time.

Dead Bugs, planks, glute bridges, are great and I often do that during Knicks games as well as using my elliptical riders for like 20 minutes. I also use compression sleeves on my thighs, and lower back and that helps. Just keep moving guys... And physical therapy.

Some good tips for any back pain newbies…

Sorry to hear that Nalod, btw, your auto-correct name is “Naldo” No doctor, but it sounds like you have sciatica. As someone with 40 plus years experience, if you don’t have cold gel packs, they’re definitely worth getting. “Comfort Gel Pack” at Amazon has been my go to for 20 years.

Trying to understand why the Jazz traded 3 first round picks to the Suns for one 2031 first round pick?

I think one, Utah is outright saying we know you're going to be trash that far out and that first rounder is going to end up being the better asset. A lottery pick in 31 is better than three picks 25,27 29 which are going to come from Cleveland, more than likely. Three low first round picks for a potential lottery picks? Utah doesn't need those weak first rounders. Why not take the gamble?

Thats interesting but I don't know they can have much of a conviction for 6 years out. Suns are in 2nd apron hell, but maybe 6 years from now they are in a new cycle. To me its kind of a punt - but with 15 player rosters and apron rules, having those players on relative cost control should have some value right?

If other teams follow this logic, than its a way for the Knicks to get back into some drafts to fill out the back end of the team. I know they love dealing with OKC, and OKC is definitely a team with too many picks relative to roster spots, so maybe OKC will toss them a surplus first rounders for some future speculation.

OKC has so many pics they are in danger of messing with their team chemistry. They cannot field all the first and second rounders they have incoming. A few years ago they traded us several picks for one of our first rounders. Team could also trade a future unprotected pick for 3 first rounders and maybe more. Let's see what happens. We still need contracts to add these potential pics to bring in players.

Utah is still some years away from contending and they still have a pick surplus. I don't think they're worried about filling their roster with one inexpensive talent yet. It's a gamble, but those picks they have up probably amount to around six seconds rounders at the end of the day. At this point, the suns are going to be drained of the go forward with a Butler trade. Sure, they could recoup some value down the the road with KD and Booker trades down the road. But just means another rebuild for the Suns. It's a gamble, but there are decent odds ot pays off. OKC has too many picks as well. But they are also coming up with some hard salary dilemma s. Shai is eligible for the supermax this summer and Jalen and Chet soon after. They may need to those picks to balance out the roster.

Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right. - The Tick
