I am actually strangely satisfied by the outcome of the lottery. I do not think our front office could have handled a top 3 pick. At number 8 we safely take what the draft gives us, ie a Nesmith, and be good with it. Choice is our enemy, we are best delivered from the temptation of picking Ball, Avdija or Wiseman.

Kinda sucks not getting a shot at Edwards or Haliburton, but Nesmith would be just fine.

And at least those A$$holes at GSW did not get the top pick.

The Bulls rep on the Knicks Fan TV podcast said he'd heard for a while Bulls will take Deni. Would make sense at 4. However, I could see them trading up if they love laMelo or Wiseman or whatever- could give Twolves or Warriors some of their young players plus the 4th. They have an excess of reasonable players to deal:

Warriors and Bulls are meant to be high on Deni, but because the Bulls are at 4, Warriors are restricted when it comes to moving down. I'll be interested to see where Ball goes then:

Twolves- Edwards
Warriors- Deni
Hornets- Wiseman (remember they were interested in Drummond, have a good PF and guards, so should be after a C)
Bulls- Probably Ball if Deni is gone?

If Bulls don't take Ball, he could fall all the way to the Pistons.
