I'm no fan of Ted Cruz but how can anyone expect him to endorse Donald Trump called his wife ugly and accused his father of being involved in Kennedy's assassination??..Does principles matter anymore?

Still can't believe what Cruz did. All he did was reveal his true character. If he is vehemently against Trump than he should've stayed home like Kasich and not waste tried to make this RNC about him. You lost stay home loser. How dare he waste everyone's time.

Would you endorse some one who insulted your wife and father?

I dislike Cruz intensely, but Trump burned some bridges insulting him. I'm not sure why you can't see this.

Its significant that Kasich and Cruz, the last guys standing in the primaries before Trump won, have both rejected him. Bush, and early dropout, did the same.

Carson, Walker, and Christie were the guys who backed him...probably for jobs or their own reasons unknown to me.

Cruz doesn't have to support him. He should not have shown up and try to make the convention about him. He only hurt his chances of gaining more supporters in future elections. The amount of Ted Cruz supporters was miniscule to begin with

Common sense and American values for Carson & Walker. Christie I concede is only pandering for a job

How dare Trump give him a prime time spot to overshadow his VP and let him?

Girlfriend pointed this out to me that he cheated on Ivana with Marla, too.

Some commentators pointed out that they should have let him speak on day 1. He also had a 10 minute slot and took 23 minutes.

Would agree with Carson...Walker might have other aspirations. I know Christie wants that AG job.

Pence wasn't overshadowed. He's been the best speaker and leader the past 3 days. Although I loved how Giuliani is able to still command and lead a room. Really hope he accepts the challenge as Secretary of Homeland Security

I'd have no problem with Christie as AG. It's where Christie belongs. Not running an entire state into the ground and then leaving it in shambles to run for President. Wasting everyone's time while lining his pocket with campaign money for more stadium hotdogs.

And Not counting Cruz's spot, which should've never happened, Christie's was the worst so far. Showed the America what a complete dope he is

Christie spent 350k at Giants/Jets Stadium consession in a 4? year span...Might be 3...Private money flies Christie and his family to Italy on a private jet every year..So there you can claim family values..

Turn on a cable news network. Check the websites.

You're mistaken.

But maybe it doesn't matter, because any day now the subliminal message intended with Mrs. Trump's plagiarism is going to kick in and people will be talking about that..

New interview with the NYT. Some troubling foreign policy stuff questioning his understanding of NATO.

http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/07/21/us/politics/donald-trump-issues.html

But this little bit pretty much sums up the motivations and pathology of Donald Trump. I suppose he deserves some credit for being so honest.

When asked what he hoped people would take away from the convention, Mr. Trump said, “The fact that I’m very well liked.”

That 'I'm most qualified to be president' or 'that I understand your problems and want to serve to solve them' would be your standard answers.

No, Trump wants people to know that other people already really like him.

Amazing stuff that would play as a farce if written as a movie.
