![]() Wow- great game (Blazers vs Rockets)- Advanced metrics FAIL- thus conclusively proving I was not only right about that, but also about everything I have ever posted
![]() What the heck got into Robin Lopez in the 4th? He made some huge shots- was carrying his team at one point. Lillard was just awesome. Lin with some costly TO's and misses, but Harden also choked in the 4th (miss, air ball etc). Rockets seem like they don't really like each other. They over achieved in the regular season, but finished up where I thought they would in the playoffs- critical offseason for them. |

![]() Never saw the Mavs/Spurs series going to 6 games- well done to the Mavs. Ellis has attracted a lot of ridicule from people (including myself) over the years, so he deserves some praise for what he'd done the season for the Mavs- just goes to show that in the right culture and situation, problematic players can excel and reach their full potential.

![]() What a terrible coaching job by McHale down the stretch. He keeps his small lineup in and Lopez kept scoring on his guards, and both times refuses to send a double smdh. It sucked because Howard was going ham, and Portland was ice cold, but Krusty provided 6 crucial points in that stretch.
AND THE COACHING BLUNDER OF THE SEASON, IMO: He has a defacto basketball power play in his hands and blows it, letting Terrence Jones guard the inbounder. Somebody tell this guy that the inbounder is not a threat with .9 seconds. He could have been hovering at the three point line, and been the one to switch on Lillard, but that entire team is stupid, and he was standing there guarding, actually more like looking at Batum, because it's not like Batum would get the ball back to shoot it, while Lillard shot the dagger right next to him. Unbelievable...they deserved to lose. If I was Dwight, I'd want McHales head on a platter. |

Marbury's low FG% wasn't cutting it. Marbury should've been more of a facilitator but he lacked pg vision, leadership etc |

![]() America, my name is Damian Lillard!!!! When most people talk about the best young pg's in the league, Kyrie, Steph, D Rose, & Wall's name will come up before anyone mentions Lillard. I think a big part of that has to do with him playing in Portland. Not only did his heroic, ultra efficient play put him on the map, but he's def in the discussion for the best pg the league. Have to admit, I didn't catch many late night Portland games this year and I'm not one to rate a player until I've really seen him play over a good stretch. I am crazy impressed with his game, the ability to hit the long range jumper but can still to go the hole at will. He's clutch and is a willing passer. Doesn't turn the ball over much, and seems like a really good teammate. What else do you want?

McHale, Brooks and Vogel are all doing a terrible job. |

When did R.Lopez become an NBA player? Melo is not going to get traded to the Houston but if he does, I want nothing to do with Lin or Asik. Both scrubs. |

![]() Here is why I put zero stock into metrics...Lin had a bad shooting night and a few costly turnovers..Other than that I thought he was great..He played great defense on Liliard for a stretch denying him the ball and making him take tough shots...He got into the lane and missed but DHow cleaned up those shots and gained confidence in the post..Howard carried the Rockets after that..Stats can't quantify that..

His night wasn't horrible but those air balls and turnovers kill a team. Thought Dwight was really clutch down the stretch. If he could hit free throws like that on a regular basis he is unstoppable.
