If you focus on LaMelo Ball as the focal point of their offense, I think they can be fun and athletic and the get crushed in crunch time.

Ball
___
Miller
Bridges/Washington
___

I might be crazy, but this is how I see this team. If I were them I might actually take a flyer on Fournier. He doesn’t make them worse and he spreads the floor a bit for LaMelo to have fun.

I dunno. I have them in the bottom 4 teams of the league anyway.

They easily could be. Hayward could also play 70 games, the wife beater could pick up where he left off, Scary Terry could move back too an off ball roll and be a high volume high % shooter/scorer, and Mark Williams could start looking like a mini Mitch. Add in PJ, Brandon Miller, plus that French guard they signed and while they need things yo break right they have the talent for a turnaround

I guess the real MVP will be their PR department if they don’t implode. Can you just imagine an argument between Brandon Miller and Miles Bridges over who is the worse d-bag?

I'm not high on Miller as a player, but I don't consider him d-bag. It wasn't his gun and he didn't return it knowing that his teammate was going to shoot an innocent single mother. Did he show good judgement? That's questionable. But I would not throw him in the same sentence as Bridges.

I don’t know a lot about him but watching him he seems a little more tools then game at this point. That said he a huge wing. I feel like this pick could haunt them especially if Miller isn’t a worker bc I think he has work to do

Hornets have an opportunity. The kid might be “Durant like” type shooter.
They were on the fence with him and Scoot and with Ball in place they took the tall shooter that compliments.
WIth Scoot, they play him and Ball and see if it works.

Few players are sure fire talents when they get to the league. Scoot talks a good game and likley needs some time blossom.
Miller also.

Our opinions on players based only on what we read and often thay are others opinons.
Parity is leveling the league out. Dynasties are harder to create and the talent is spread out.

Who are the doormats going into this season>?

That's a good question. There are not a lot of clear tankers. I think the Pistons will be bad again. The Blazers will probably be terrible. I don't see FVV turning around the Rockets. The Wizards will be bad. I could see the Raptors falling apart. I wonder what happens if they do

Blazers and Pistons have a intriguing young core. Pistons did not have Cade last year.
Scoot if he can get out to a good start with their young core might surprise.
Wizards? Likely not going anywhere for a while.
Pacers could be much better this year.
Hornets? If Miller can shoot, with a healthy ball, Miles Bridges back, and if Haywood can play 60 games will be much improved.
Enough to play in? Can't say.
Every year there is a team that rises. That was knicks last year. Also one that disappoints. That was Toronto.
Baring trade, Raptors are not bade actually. Issue is back court. they proved they can NOT win with FVV and thus let him walk. Actually not entirely stupid.
Barnes, OG and Siakim is a good core.
Hard to say anything about Hawks. On paper thats a good back court!

I think the Raps are going to fall on there face. Unless someone steps forward have no ball handling and little shooting. As of right now I guess they are going to rely on Scottie and Pascal initiating and playing point forward. I don't see that going well. On the other hand you are right like most teams they have talent and if a guy like Fylnn steps forward it could make a big difference. There are few terrible teams

**** I forgot that the Raptors picked up Dennis Schroder. I think he gives them a lot better chance. Maybe they will be OK.

Hmmm... I don't know. He'd have to hit the backboard.

I'd be happy if Mitch took less time to shoot. Sometimes taking too long leads to too much aiming. Overthinking.

Man, this sucks. Maybe we can trade him straight for RokJok, who's obviously proven he's one of the top point guards in the world.

Lakers getting Christian Wood for the minimum seems like a really good signing. I think LeBron solves a lot of his locker room concerns and AD can cover for him on defense. Wood is also pretty good insurance for when AD has to miss games. Someone wrote on ESPN that they expect AD to have an MVP level season- I would love to see it.

Our boy Kevin lands! He should get some opportunities on that roster. Hope he puts it together.

Danilo Galinari for the Obi TPE and a second now or at the deadline, include the fake Miami top 55 protected pick too.

Just want a veteran depth piece who can shoot who won't cost anything. Gallo maybe as a waiver pick up after the deadline ?

Kevin Porter Jr. arrested for beating up his girlfriend, not his first go round with this nonsense. With due process trusting this tough guy gets his.
