Forces the action a bit too much at times. A lot of questionable shots and his vision isn't the greatest. These are minor issues that can be fixed with proper coaching and development. He just turned 19, and we cannot expect a finished product at this point. He hasn't been coached yet! At least to the extent that he needs to be coached to reach his full potential. The one skill he does have that is difficult to teach is his ability to shoot from all 3 levels and his ability to get his own shot off the dribble from anywhere on the court. You need players like this the way the game is played today. I wouldn't take him @ 8 because its not good value, but i would trade back and grab him at the end of the lotto.

His dribble is a little too loose for my liking. He looked good against the competition in the clip. However, those defenders are playing defense too upright. That won't fly in the NBA

They are playing him close because you have to respect his shot. Most teams are running 4-out and 5-out sets and surrounding the perimeter with shooters (teams that have multiple shooters) leaving the paint wide open. He will be able to get to the basket or at least to the midrange and get off a good shot.

Like I mentioned in my previous post, the kid just turned 19 in June so he's not even close to his potential. He has the athletic tools to be a really good defender and i'm sure if we were to draft him, Thibs will hold him accountable or he will sit. He had one year of college so he really didn't get much coaching. Most athletes who fail in the NBA usually do so because they fail develop a shot (of course heart, mental toughness comes into play aswell). Ramsey is one of the best shooters/scorers in this draft and is an elite athlete. The potential is there he just needs time to develop and get coached up.

Ramsey and Maxey give me Donovan Mitchell vibes. Not that they play like him, but they will both be end of the lotto picks and may end up being top 5 players from this class.
