This game reminded of the game 7 vs the Rockets in '94. We lost both games due to a guard who was having a sub par performance heating up. In '94 it was Cassell this game it was Jet. Game 5 is gonna be a battle cause their secondary guys have gained a bit of confidence and their stroke is back.

Yes Melo had a bad game. You can't win them all. What happened to Copeland? He didn't play. Melo was off today. All I can say is that look how many games he won for us but today he had a bad game. And for all those who think we can win a championship with out him you are dreaming or smoking dope.

Agree, Woody was off his game today. When he decide to play Q instead of Cope, I knew we were in for a long day. That guy can't score for cramp. I think woody is more to blame for this lost than anyone else. I really home Woody's brain come back When JR does.

Copeland was like a deer in headlights in game one..He couldn't even hold the ball let alone shoot...He is done for the year...

This was game four. Q could make a point blank layup and he was pretty much wide open. Cope has been there from day one this season. Q came from his coach and played critical minutes in the second, which doesn't make sense to me.

It is what it is, I think the team has to share the blame for getting in the 20 pt hole in the first place but I do agree Cope should come off the bench before Q... Granted Cope was off his game at the beginning of the series but he's done some good things against Boston in the past. Not to mention he's been with the team for more than 4 games.

Cope's been of this whole series. Q offers absolutely nothing. He didn't the first time around, and I know that would change his second stint with this time. At least we know Cope can score, but Q has never been that type of player.

Copeland handled the ball twice in game one and turned it over twice...He bobble once under tha basket with no one around him...A coach can tell by looking at the kid..U think Woody don't want another scorer...He isn't ready for this type of intensity...I'm not sure if I would call Q's minutes critical...

What do Jeremy Lin, the Rockets, or the Nuggets have to do with a playoff game between the Knicks and the Celtics?

I think they will handle the Pacers too. Home court is a big deal since the Pacers, oddly for a defensive team, are not a good road team. They seem to lack the firepower and Hibbert has underachieved.

Im starting to question how big of an effect he has now. There was a lot of isos this game depsite him being on the court.

Since when did Iso become such a dirty word, Jordan won 6 rings going Iso...You will need Iso in spurts in the playoffs...Bron is making his passes of Isoball right now as well speak...

Dont mind it at all. I just dont want it every play. Its predictable and sometimes we waste the majority of the shot clock trying to set it up. I'd like to see Melo come off some screens or something where its a lot easier for him and he can just catch and shoot.

Points to take on for the next game:

1. We need J.R.- He is a huge part of our offensive attack and hopefully this served him to be more mature on the court the rest of this run.

2. We need more Felton- He was amazing this game. We need him this active the rest of this run.

3. Shump brings it- Iman needs to build from this game and keep playing this way the rest of the way.

4. Amar'e will help- This was a game that showed how Stat can help us as another scoring option off the bench.

5. Woody needs to bring back Cope- Coming into the playoffs, Cope had become an important asset off the bench. He may have struggled in the first two games, but we need him! Woody can't hurt his confidence like that, playing Q before Cope. He needs to find a way to integrate Cope to the game. We needed offense this game and Cope would've helped. We need him for this run.

Woody has too quick of a hook on Cope and always has. He's too damn old school when it comes to young players. Cope needs a chance to get the jitters out and you can't do that if you get a quick hook and no other opportunity to come back into the game after having a bad start. Gotta stick with the guys that got you there.

PACERS scored 69 points the other night.. I was like WTF? LOL not good... although, they do have depth and can really grind out games, their offense can be somewhat a mystery at times...

We could've used STAT in a game like today!!!

i have always been an amare fan, and honestly, I am also surprised at how many fans are down on the guy as well... when he was healthy, he was a heck of a player for us...

When he was fully healthy, he was great. However, we're probably going to get less production out of his than Allan Houston's $100 mil contract, which was seen as a disaster.

I see your point but u also have to understand that a team that saw u 4 times during the regular season and another 4 to 7 times in the playoffs will make adjustments and try to take away the things u like to do ...

I wonder if the Pacers are mentally tough enough to win a game of attrition. The celtics showed some grit even if they have no hope of winning. Something about Hibbert's personality makes me wonder-- maybe it's a certain passivity.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I agree with this. Cope was nervous as hell when he played. Its not like Woody didnt give him a chance.
