Probably not too badly. Game's in LA.

Why on earth do they want to shut him out? Lin is a PG but he only touches the ball for 5 seconds before passing it off to Harden. Lin is such a great passer/playmaker that it sickens me to see Harden handle the ball on most possession.

Its simple Lin needs to get the other guys involved. Otherwise he is a poor terminally ill mans Marbury.

you obviously don't watch the rockets, their offense is all about ball movement, and lin spearheads that....I wish our offense passed that well..

We have but its just not been consistent

we swing the ball around the perimeter for threes... not often do we swing the ball around that leads to many backdoor plays or plays in the paint....

We have gotten Ronnie looks at the rim because hes really the only one who cuts or goes backdoor. We run plenty of pick and rolls too and those who roll (Tyson and Cope) usually get rewarded.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Ha, just realised that- was going to sneak back and edit my post before anyone noticed!

Oh well, no reason to watch that game then- if the nba is only going to have 2 games on in a day, why don't they schedule them so that those games are actually good match ups.

Denver and Houston lead the nba in points in the paint... the knicks are next to last.. not good.. hopefully amare helps us in that area, but it is going to have to be a change somewhat in team philosophy, from chucking to cutting and passing closer to the basket.... these jumpers might not continue to fall...

Woodson 30-10 since taking over Knicks, Dantoni 3-4 Lakers, Yea but Melo was the problem lol, Dantoni is not a good coach. I don't care if Nash isn't there Nash is 38 years old and isn't going to solve their defensive problems, Bottom line is when you have Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard and Paul Gasol you should be playing better.

I don't know if anyone could make them play well together at this point. In all honesty, it seems like it could be an awkward lockerroom. It's Kobe's team and Dwight is the big shot young guy, so, to me, there can be friction there because they don't see eye to eye.

Put Nash out there, and we can use Nash in this argument because he IS an NBA player that they payed millions of dollars for, it's not like he was picked up from the garbage pile, guy can still play, anyway you put Nash out there and it's all going to start to make a little more sense.

So your saying if woodson coached the lakers they'd be good to go after 7 games?

Think maybe there were problems before MDA got there?

They were awful in preseaon and the first few games. LIke 1-11 right?

Woodson is going a real good job. I don't see the correlation. In fact, only thing one can do is last season when the roster was basically the same.

True, Woodson is a better coach for the knicks.

But lets expand, I think Woodson is a better coach for the JETS!

Just a day after Steve Nash said he would be out maybe another couple weeks (he’s not sure) came this news about his backup, via the Lakers official twitter account.

Los Angeles Lakers✔
@Lakers

Steve Blake will undergo laproscopic surgery to repair a torn abdominal muscle. It is expected that Blake will miss a min of 6 to 8 weeks

I have a feeling Jennings gets traded if they continue to slide. Hammonds is a lame duck GM with a lame duck coach, with a lame duck knuckle headed young talent.

Unlike Jrue/Curry/Derozan he hasn't taken the leap. He might get a 4yr deal but he's playing himself into O.J. Mayo territory this summer

Well they just beat the Lakers and they were a handful for us for 3 1/4 qrts. That Vucevic dude is an intriguing prospect

Skiles has a really short shelf life as a coach- seems to do great the first 2 years then his players all turn against him and he loses the team. Looks like he's reached the end of the road with the Bucks.

So perhaps thats the reason "Stern" had them one spot ahead of us in the "Power rankings"?

Our two victories against PHilly had us good for a while.

In the end it all sorts itself out!
