I am thoroughly enjoying reading these bull**** justifications for posters' incorrect interpretations of Carmelo Anthony. He's a beast. Get over it. You were wrong. Let's go Knicks

Incredible performance today. And I can't praise Tyson and Shump enough for what they have done for this defense.

+1 It's hilarious, isn't it?

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

i have no way of proving this at all, but i think melo's early season or mid-season conditioning woes are behind him. he's in game shape and peaking right now. good place to be. great place to be.

man, what a win.

Yep, We're tied record-wise, but the tiebreaker advantage really comes in handy.

I hope Philly and Orlando keep on sliding, and that the Knicks can continue the strong run down the stretch.

All these games are on youtube already
Google search Knicks under videos. then make the specs for within last 24 hours and duration over 4 minutes, or over 20
you'll find it-

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Nice mix- got to enjoy the good! We're too used to the pain- Guy Smiley and friends might lift us out of malaise into some prideful fun ball- We're kind of playing Larry Brown/Popovich style!!! I hope we see it last for years- and develop a culture here that brings out what we've been seeing recently on a consistant basis no matter who is in-

Really thanks man! Went out to eat at Maggiano's for Easter and snuck to the TVs at the bar to catch as much of the game as I could. Place erupted once Melo sent the game to OT and then won it!

Mray20 wrote:This team has heart they never gave up and Melo is clutch it's not even a question. Mike Breen really pissed me off bashing Melo's shot selection and yet Derek Rose took alot of bad shots and shot 8-26 yet Breen was praising him as if he shot 20 for 20 and not once said anyting about his shot selection, I am just glad Jeff Van Gundy put him in his place. Great win hopefully they can go to Chicago and do it again!

Breen is tight with MDA

i LOVED how JVG called breen on some of it. his argument that melo was not taking bad shots was great. i think Breen may have actually influenced some of the melo haters here. breen is really hard on melo, he has a clear bias against him.

look, i understand having a bias against melo - the knicks gave up too much in the trade to get him. but fans need to understand, that was dolan who did that. not melo.

melo has played injured and played hard and well for this team. he is a very good player and he's trying to make the right plays and playing hard. he didn't do it for MDA, partly because he was injured and partly because MDA wanted to give the keys of the team to Lin (when, really, all MDA needed to do was make an offense that featured LIN AND MELO - is that too much to ask?). MDA didn't seem to have a problem with Melo playing Melo-ball the first game of the season where he beat Boston single-handedly on Christmas Day, did he?

I like Breen and think he's pretty fair mostly. But he's REALLY tough on Melo. I think Breen is as big a Knicks fan as anyone though. He wants them to succeed.

He's bais bro...I love Breen calling other games than Knick games...

hey, we all have our biases. i just loved hearing JVG call him on it.

Breen criticizing Melo for taking a shot against a 6'9" guy when a 6'9" guy had been guarding him all game and Melo himself is 6'8" and guarding that same 6'9" guy on the other end.

i was so glad to hear JVG call him on it. one reason i think JVG would make an excellent coach of this team, but i am thrilled with woodson so far.

How about JVG to Breen after Breen was complaining that Melo took a shot with two guys on him..."I'll rather have Anthony take a shot with three guys on him than a wide open Jared Jeffries".

I can't speak. My voice is gone. That has to be the best win at the Garden of the 2000s.

My voice is shot to.

My roommates were woken up by my screeching voice. I hope they don't stab me in my sleep tonight.

Bulls choke job!

Always good to get a win against the no. 1 seed but wow that was a big choke job.

Live by the three and die by it.

We got lucky.

How Novak's three did not fall was amazing!

Sorry, our offense was dead except for the 3.

Bulls blew 4 foul shots in a row.

A little credit where credit is due? There is no luck in the NBA. You make your own luck. Missed free throws are part of the game. Go watch Denver basketball fool.

Great win...but how do you give up a 21 point lead and go down 10? Thank God the Bulls went Landry at the free throw line, or there would have been no Melo heroics. Melo really stepping it up recent.

When you go up that big that early against a good team they usually come back. I have no proof of this but even when they were up 21 I didn't treat it as game over. I was just waiting for them to make their run. You just play differently when you're up that big early in a game.

I was sitting next to 4 Bulls fans that were so unbelieveably loud and annoying. The Knicks winning was such a good feeling....getting to scream in their faces the way they had been doing to eveyrone in the seciton the entore second half. It was great.

You win by the three and die by the three won't work statistically.

We got hot.

Have not watched Knuggs game all year.

Winning ugly works.

Bulls interior defense is very good.

So is ours.

Credit is in the win column. But im not ready to hoist melo on the shoulders of greatness.

JR got going at the right time. The previous 5 min before our 10-0 run was some ugly ball.

I DVR'd the game. Weather too nice to sit inside on a sunday afternoon.

JR shot atrocious all game, but hit the timely 3 when the Knicks were down 10 after the Rose 4 pt play. The Knicks coud've mailed it in easily after being down 10 with a few minutes left, but they scratched and clawed their way back. Novak was completely off most of the game. Melo didn't just force shots or 3s randomly. He drove alot, even had a few And 1's down the stretch. Should've been Novak hitting the game tying 3 in regulation with a perfect pass by Melo, but it rolled around inside the cylinder it seems forever. I know what you're saying about not crowning Melo yet after a regular season game. But if you don't realize the magnitude of this game for the Knicks playoff chances, the national television exposure of an Easter day game, and the quality of the opponent, I don't know what to tell you...
