Hope everybody that talks championship contention, Atlantic title and Knicks domination record this game in their minds, because this has happened before and will happen again until we get disciplined enough to play in the same yard with the real dogs.

Miami exposed us. Boston did it again. Until we learn to keep our composure, focus, keep playing defense and move the ball like we should, we will keep struggling and be a mediocre team. That third quarter was deplorable, a basketball embarrassment. We lost this game in the third. We still found a way to make it a game, but another mental lapse against Boston (not fouling in the last play) was enough opening for a veteran team to finish us.

Its now an 11-game winning streak Boston has on us at their Garden. Thats embarrassing.

Pathetic performance. This team is pretty far from real contention.

Sick of this switching !!!! wtf? our switching is killing us.

So this was Amare's Fault?? 16 pts...13 rebounds. You don't think it had anything to do with a subpar game from Lin and some questionable coaching decisions?

I think they definitely should have fouled especially cause Celtics had no timeouts..as soon as Garnett caught that pass there should have been a foul.

Lin didn't have a good game but we didn't lose because of him. most of our team did a bad job

As the point guard you can't get the credit when we win and not when u lose. He controls the offense and their were moments in the game where we were getting bad shots after bad shots and plenty of turnovers. Lets critique people fairly. If you can nitpick Amare all day then Lin deserves more blame this game. Amare had 0 turnovers, rebounded, didn't play terrible defense today and scored decently.

We had this game won. we lost strategically at the end. took to long to adjust to the switching issue. Shump also had a mental error on that last play..he never made that shot difficult for Pierce..just put a token hand up as he went for the jumper. should have contested. what's the worst that can happen.

Why call the timeout after we rebounded it with 18 seconds left. Especially when you have a 80% free throw shooter with the ball. I think this game turned in the late first and early second when all the TOs happened. Also the second unit struggled in the second half when the starters went out with foul trouble.

I know people want to blame lin.
I know people want to blame Melo.
I know people have given up on STAT.
The truth is that they all did good things and they all had some bad moments on O and D.

I do think that Lin and Stat needs to step up their D. It is hurting this team. I just want to see better effort and smart plays from the both. I also want to see Melo relax and play his game on O. He is rushing almost everything trying to be perfect. He just need to let the came come to him. The same could be said for Lin. He just needs to relax and keep his eyes up at times but I like his effort on O. He is young so mistakes are expected but He is doing a good job.

Lin will be ok. Melo will be ok. tHis team will be ok.

I'm not really that worried tho, cuz I know this team can play better. This is only one game. The Knicks still have a ton of work to do and it's games like this that make it clear. We still aren't "smooth" on offense and we have defensive lapses.

Lin still has trouble against good defensive teams that take away the PnR and penetration. The C's play a sort of zone where they clog the paint area but can still close out on shooters. They basically play half way between the 3pt line and the paint.

when we were running the ball we were killing them then we went back to isos and thats exactly what boston wnats and we paid once again

Dude played terrible. No excuse on the turnovers. He's been hit during all his starting streak.

Without Melo, Lin takes down THE MAVS, THE LAKERS, THE JAZZ, 8-1 RECORD!!!

With Melo, we lose to THE CELTICS, THE HEAT, defeat the Hawks and the Cavs, 2-2 RECORD!!

YOU DO THE MATH!

If You are serious, you know very little about the game of basketball and the little bit of credibility you may have had is down the tubes.

That last score by Melo near the end of regulation should have been enough to win. Can't do much about Pierce showing us up almost every time.

Always the heartbreaker against this damn team.

I actually find the taunting after awesome dunks to be childish. Did you see Josh Smith's yesterday? The refs are inconsistent in calling taunting Ts. I'll give you that. But the taunting is childish.

Amare played ok but he kills the offense. Defense???? He should stay down on the offensive side always.

Lin would look much better with JJ.

I agree. Shoulda fouled but MDA is way too stubborn for that.

You trust JJ on offense more than Amare when Celtics turned their defense up??

Elite teams play physical defense. It's time for Lin fans to stop fcking whining and for Lin to adjust.

I think you'd have to trust Charles Smith if he were to come out of retirement more than Amare.

Lin should have attacked a bit more and attempt to finish moves so they couldn't do that. When he watches tape he will adjust. when he penetrated also he had open shooters behind him. Davis did a good job and being more creative with his passes. Vanilla passes are not gonna work against a veteran team like Celtics.

Agreed. Bogus in the fact that Garnett, the object of the taunt, does it all the time. Double standard.

But, you're right, Shumpert needs to know better and you can see MDA was irate at him.

First, its not just offense. its defense. No comparison.

And surprisingly, JJ fits much better at this point than Amare. He crashed the Offensive boards much better and looks much better in the PnR.

Sad - but true.
