Thank God this man is no longer a Knick. I was sick and tired of his moronic stunts.

If I'm Rivers or Ainge, I have a serious discussion with him about him almost injuring himself and putting his team in jeopardy.

Pierce is a lil biatch. Kobe does that shyt, and now he's bitin hard. FU Pierce!

as pissed as i was over the pierce prancing, he was directing it at the crowd... i wouldn't have called a tech on that.

besides it would have still been a 1pt game.

We really need a go-to-scorer besides Amar'e Stoudemire. Boston came back twice when STAT was on the bench. I know Danilo Gallinari and Wilson Chandler had good games but this is another reason why you trade them for Carmelo Anthony if you can. We don't lose leads with STAT on the bench if we have Melo on the floor.

I was watching Orlando at Denver last night. Dwight Howard or not, Carmelo was having his way and scoring at will.

If they ask only two guys for carmelo I probably would do it. Just going by the rumors they want more it seems.

yeah but he can't give us the 40 & 15 combined that Wilson & Gallo gave us.

That was a great game. The Knicks didn't back down from an elite team and fought to the last second.

Carmelo and Forbes could manage that.

How can you visually see the difference between .4 and .6?

The Coach should have argued the point.

I'm kinda surprised they didn't check because I thought they usually do, but unfortunately there's no use crying about that. Great effort by the Knicks; hopefully they play this hard against Miami

You can say the same thing about any missed shots, turnovers, mistakes on D, etc.

Yeah, he should have made at least 2/3, but you can go crazy looking at things like this. Would have been different if he had missed them under pressure at the end of the game, I suppose.

And as someone pointed out- Boston was a bit lucky with their FTs. We actually shot our average.

Yep. And remember, Felton hit a crazy three to end the half and got fouled on a half-court shot and made those three. How often does that happen?

tkf wrote:Tough loss, but the celtics can posture all theywant, pierce can parade around the court, but these clowns were outplayed by the knicks tonight.. I am going to complain about the refs because they really jobbed us down the stretch when the celts could not score... pierce doesn't call it a rivalry, but he was celebrating like it was one..

Damn tough loss!!!

knicks took a tough boston defense and shredded it to pieces... And as I type and look at the score clock after pierce's shot, it should have been .5 seconds on the clock.. but whatever... good game knicks.. tough loss..

keys:

Amare: stud performance ..39/10/3 blocks, but he had no assists, and that is huge, because he missed some shooters tonight and in a game like this, you have to hit the shooters, who were hot tonight.. overall, beastly game, played like a star, that last shot before pierce basket went in and out and the three after the buzzer was almost magical..... just a split second too late..

Felton: forced a bit too many shots, but just destroyed boston's guards. 26/14 for felton.. he pushed the ball down the celtics throats. wished he had taken less threes and made that extra pass, but hey, he played a great game..

Chandler: really good first half, dissapeared in the second half.. offensively, but he did a good job on the boards and had his hands full with a much taller garnett. still did a good job.. 18/12/2 blocks is more than a solid outing for sure... He battled hard...

gallo: lackluster first half to say the least and then caught fire scoring 20 second half points.. left handed shots, threes, dunks, just a nice overall show... JVG was commenting on how well he does putting the ball on the floor and finding others.. gallo finished with 20/3/3.. very good second half for sure, and showed us why some are really high on this kid..

Fields: not a great game. had trouble feeding the post tonight for some reason.. finished with 6/6/2 steals.. didn't get a lot of those easy baskets we are accustomed to, subpar game if you ask me, but I know he was playing hard.... just didn't get the breaks today.. had his hands full guarding ray allen as well...

Again, great job by the supporting cast, and a great job the captains.. just a tough loss..

Bench:

TD, turiaf, williams.. 7 points combined is not enough, but other than douglas who played 16 minutes the other two didn't log more than 10.. we need better production off that bench..

SOTN: nate and big baby.. someone please tell those two fools to sit down.. Also the refs, they just handed the game to boston late, just some questionable calls.... not suprised...

Overall tough loss, but the lack of assist( we really didn't move the ball that well..19 dimes to bostons 26) and the lack of boards.. (outrebounded 39-35) ended up hurting us.. I would say pierce was the key for boston, but honestly, it was garnett parking in the lane and getting those boards, second chance shots, baskets and fouls.. that killed us as well.. and this is why we need a BIG MAN moreso than anything else...... Glaring hole for the knicks, and I think that will make us much more stronger than another scorer.. albeit, a talented on..

16-10

next stop.. miami...

sorry for the length.. I will condense it next time..

No condensing. Full throttle only!

I hated to lose and especially to Pierce who i've ALWAYS hated, but this game was a big game for this team. The C's aren't just any ordinary team. They're the best team in the East and could easily have been NBA champs last year. We don't even have a full rotation of players right now. We go about 7 deep and that's it. So for me it was a very good sign. We really need Donnie to come thru one more time for us and this team is in the Mix with the best teams.
