Silver is an empty suit. I hated David Stern but he was a master marketer.

Your attitude is very atypical. Most sports fans don't like the commissioner of sports league. They always boo Manford, Bettman and Goodell at any chance they get.

Knicks/Thunder was on NBATV. Only ABC shows games via terrestrial broadcast. New broadcast deal likely doe not fix having more free games but not sure its that much less. League pass is like $120 for the whole season. Its a bargain compared to NFL.
Just because a X/Tweet says it does not make it totally correct.
Perhaps the answer lies in how does the league make lineups flexible? They do make changes as the season progresses.

Now, for those who have a league pass, did anyone here watch Thunder/Celtics? Or Wemby vs. Jokic? I did not. im not watching all 82 knick games let alone watch Denver vs. SAS.

BTW, all league sports are showing increase in revenue and decreasing viewership given traditional analytics. The key is streaming viewership is way up.
Team values continue to increase based on this trend.
The empty suite knows what's up. If one digs around the internet one might find surveys demonstrating silver is about the most respected of the "deplorable" heads of pro leagues. But we are all entitled to our opinions. surveys are not absolute either.

Kidd is a good coach for him. I'm not sure Thibs ever gained enough trust in Grimes to create a lot of the dribble. Kidd, a former guard, probably knows first hand the mental gymnastics it takes to build guards up and get them playing at a needed level. The fact that Luka and Kyrie are out helps a lot too.

Grimes was pretty good at attacking closeouts his rookie year and for some reason grew allergic last year. We actually could use him right now as an extra wing, but ultimately he made sense to move last year because he wasn't contributing/developing in the way we needed on the roster.

Expectations can kill anyone, and Grimes did seem to stress out and even did the same early in college career, coming out as a 5 star recruit.

You right about having Luka and Kyrie, they are a perfect fit for him.

Perfect time to trade Mitch for him

I jest. I actually really hope Mitch comes back and can play, and maybe this team can start to play some D.

Been getting a flu vax for 30 years now.
Have not gotten it since.
Last time I had it kicked my ass bad. Like one week out with fever and two more to feel normal again!
Got my covid booster as well a few weeks ago. SO many people I talk to are not getting it because covid is not a big deal anymore.
Hey, I got covid 3 months ago for first time and its was no big deal. Had been exposed manytimees previous.
Why was it not a big deal? Cuz I had ammunities! It does not prevent you from getting covid. Just helps you fight it.
Does NBA mandate flu vax? I don't know. All them mens in tight quarters, on the plane together...........bound to spread.
Tis the season.
Stay well.

He’s doing it to build up his immune system. Even using his HSA to pay.

Maybe RFK jr. as health secretary won't be as bad as I thought?

Make American great again. Bring back Polio and Measles! We can make iron lungs right here in the USA!

RFK Jr is not entirely out of his mind. He has some good ideas. But the ones that are not good, are like really out there make up bull****. The end of the day perhaps Insurance companies can charge high premiums for those who refuse to use Helmets on Motorcycles, smoke (the do), are obese and those who don't take vaccines. Should be about personal choice.
Isn't that whole Freedom American thing about personal choices? If so, pay for them.

RFK jr and Dr Oz in charge of Medicare. Anyways, Todd how is you back ? My MRI revealed, I have a cyst in the lower spine, herniated disk, dehydrated disc and a bulging disk. But I've been exercising for 9 months 5-7 days a week and managing. My worst symptom is numbness in the feet but my wife recently got me some toe expanders and toe spreaders and I find that is beginning to lessen the discomfort in my feet, go figure. I better get my Covid shot, already got my regular flu shot. Getting older sucks but beats the alternative.

Nalod got a herniated disc, 4 numb toes and left leg is weak. Insurance company has been great and got me an MRI in 48 hours after request. They approved injections but I want a surgery to clean the material thats pressing on the nerve. Its a simple procedure, about 40 minutes and outpatient. Two doctors know the injection won't work given the issue and Im not down to waiting months or years for it to clear. IM limping and that will cause a domino effect on other things. Im walking like the Colin Farrell in the penguin! Bit exaggerated but I feel other leg over compensating.
