Hachimura was 9th, Cam was 10th in same draft. Both players have shown an equal amount of flashes, though Hachimura is having a better season. But either way I think the market is set for Cam

The Hachimura trade capital was wild to me: "The deal includes a 2023 second-round pick via Chicago, the Lakers' own in 2029 and the less favorable of the Wizards' and Lakers' 2028 second-round picks, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski."

The Chicago pick will probably be around 40? And the other 2 picks are so far off the current GM of the Wizards probably won't be around to use them in a draft for himself and neither pick will realize its value for another 3-4 years?

Lakers didn't get Hachimura for free but that's also not very much to give up right now for your team in the short term? Or for the Wizards, they don't get any real value returned that'll help them any time soon with the possibility of only getting a solid 40th pick?

I don't even know what to think of this one.

Said in a different way: Hachimura was traded for a very Keels-like second round pick plus future considerations

To be fair, if it was the Knicks, they would have wanted Toppin and a future unprotected first. So, we got that going for us.

20 years to score 40 on the Clips....I don't know if that is that vaunted Clipper defense or Lebron being over rated.

OKC and GSW have the same record at 23-24 tied for 10th in their conference.

One team is trying to tank and the other is coming off Championship and should be competing for another?

What in the whacky world are we living in?

Lebron james is just incredible. The guy weighs 255-260. He’s 38 years old and he still plays the game at absolute maximum level. He’s the best older player of all time beyond being one of the greatest all time. No player has ever done what lbj is doing now

As an NY fan dating back to the early 90's of Ewing, Starks, Oakley and Mason (alongside of Coach Riley), I never thought I'd live to see a day where I'm saying this (because of MJ23/MJ45 Michael Air Jordan); but LeBron is the most dominant and greatest basketball talent/player of All-Time.

He's unreal.

He's #2 All-Time in Scoring and only 178 freaking Points away from passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for #1 ALL-TIME!

INSANE.

What's even more insane is that he's also #6 (just passed MAGIC JOHNSON) ALL-TIME in Assists with 10,308 Assists and will without question pass both of Mark Jackson (10,334) and Steve Nash (10,335) and probably this year too. Making him #4 All-Time in Assists behind only Chris Paul, Jason Kidd and then John Stockton.

Soon to be #1 All-Time in SCORING and #4 All-Time in ASSISTS?

Sorry MJ23; but King James is the new NBA Sheriff in town.

Oh yeah. Did I forget to mention he's also Top 10 (9th All-Time) in STEALS?!?!? With 2,175 Steals and on the verge of becoming top 5 in STEALS before it's all said and done too?

Nuts.

Simply, unreal.

Heck.

He's even 35th All-Time in freaking REBOUNDS with 10,532 Boards.

Wow.

And for a natural SF? He's even top 100 in BLOCKS with 1,065 Blocks (currently 93rd)?

He's been RIDICULOUS!

(Jordan only = 123rd in BLOCKS (893) and 145th in Rebounds (6,672).

LeBron James is just.... Different.

Oh yeah.

Did I forget to mention how LeBron James has Michael Jordan beat in both FG% and also 3PT% too?!?!?

No one who I've ever personally witnessed play the game of basketball has ever dominated the NBA more than LeBron James has. Not Shaq. Not Duncan. Not MJ23. Not Kobe. Not anyone.

LeBron James is the (baseball) Definition of a 5 Tool Player (HE CAN LITERALLY, DO IT ALL).

Kareem = 19 All-Stars.
Kobe = 18 All-Stars.
LeBron James = 18 All-Stars (+ still counting).

We'll never witness another LeBron James. We just won't. I'm a fan of his because I'm a fan of greatness.

Lebron is definitely an all time great and on par with Jordan I would say by the weight he has had on the league. He's also a product of our time. Had he played in the 80's/90's, his career and the player he is would have been different. The game has changed a lot over the last few decades. He's played 20 seasons or so, has a conditioning that didn't exist in the 90's, the defense nowadays is usually nonexistent except for a few playoff games.

Listening to Sam Vecenie's Game Theory podcast. He said the Wizards were looking for two-second rounders and the Lakers added the third in a desperate bid to get the deal done now.

Never heard of him. I'll have to check that out. I think Rui would have been nice but this trade market since Gobert is jacked.

I think for any deal that will make a difference, the Knicks are going to have to take on a deal that may be undesirable-not bad, just iffy.

I think Hayward off the bench in a deal that may include PJ Washington or a Deal including Tim Hardaway and Bullock.

There won't be a major trade and there shouldn't be. I don't think anyone out there available moves the needle and may really upset a balance on this team that is fairly tenuous.

Can’t lie — I can’t help but wonder if Lebron is getting some synthetic assistance with his game this year —- just doesn’t seem natural what he’s doing and when was last time NBA flagged anyone for steroid use (don’t think they are even tested in new CBA but not sure).
