I'm more concerned about the people "in the know" who LIKE Trump. Particularly those overseas.

Last night his spokeswoman was asked on CNN about the IRS investigation into his taxes, the IRS audit. She was asked if Trump would provide the documentation that he indeed is being audited. The IRS always provides a statement of confirmation that you are being audited, I hope the media forces him to produce this documentation (the IRS cannot otherwise confirm/deny an audit, they only send out the paperwork). This will be another tip of the iceberg.

I saw that. Her response to being asked about the audit letter was "excuse me?" Then she tried to pivot and asked the reporter if she was accusing Trump of being a liar.

Interesting, right? Her expression was classic. I think the **** is about to hit the fan

I hope he has paid everything according to the law. But seriously, why is this such a big deal when Clinton has clearly broken the law?

I mean clinton cost the lives of thousands in Libya, against the advice of higher military commanders, the whole Bengazzi thing, etc.
This is like comparing apples to bombs.

So basically you're saying in spite of the findings of various investigations (many republican lead), you're going to draw your own conclusion?

Now back to Trump. If he's under audit what prevents him from producing the IRS letter?

The level of corruption in the government runs deep. It is pervasive. I know what (some of) those emails say and I do not need to listen to a bunch
of corrupt officials findings to know that something is amiss. My guess is that if she goes down, she is gonna pull a whole bunch down with her and
that is why she has been given a "pass" thus far. The emails don't lie, so something is clearly up.

My own conclusion? Hardly, enough experts have spoken out against what Hillary has done, over a variety of topics.
Look at what Briggs just said. Those types of opinions have been going on for years regarding Hillary.

Sometimes you have to toss findings out the window and use common sense.
Aspects of this government is on its last legs and Hillary is probably the straw that breaks the camels back.

Briggs, why not find the quotes and post instead of coloring them.

While he was not flattering at all to Hillary, it was not what he said. He is also not out endorsing Trump.

I saw woosley in person a few months ago and he is made a nice career hawking that we spend more on national defense and in the electrical grid system as a high altitude weapon discharged could cause havoc on our grid. He also disputes some of Trumps rhetoric as well. He advised McCain 8 years ago as well. Nalod enjoyed some of the discussion, his candor and agreed on many of his points.

Here Briggs, a fair and uncolored story about Woosley comments:
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/05/opinion/campaign-stops/i-ran-the-cia-now-im-endorsing-hillary-clinton.html?_r=0

asked if he "Endorses trump", he kind of stumbles and says he is not in the business of endorsing.......
don't take my word for it, just listen yourself:
http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/12/politics/james-woolsey-clinton-cia-director-backs-trump/

Former acting director Morell endorses Hilary.

Of the 88.......

Always ask questions when fed news. If Trump is in support of more money for military, most veterans would see that as favorable. If they sit on boards of companies that stand to profit from more spending, even more so.

If they endorsed Hillary it would be impressive--Trump not so much right Colin Powell saying everyone hated Hillary and that Hillary hates Obama means nothing as well:) I mean you are voting for someone that seems to have serious issues with her own colleagues. Im sure Obama hates Trump more--we know that--or I doubt hed even be out there for her.

Briggs,
WHere is the e quote that Powell says "Hilary don't like Obama?" Sounds like school yard talk BTW. It does not matter if Hilary and Obama like each other or not. I only care if they have mutual respect and worked together as competent professionals.

We are down to two candidates. I am not an enthusiastic Hilary supporter.
But, Trump is not competent.

Trump is very effective in promoting concepts but not facts or substance. More so he deflects and talks more about Hilary than himself.
This is true of Trump supporters.

Since you mentioned Colin Powell..........He is no fan of Hilary.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/15/us/politics/colin-powell-emails-hack-donald-trump.html

WASHINGTON — Former Secretary of State Colin L. Powell, who served as President George W. Bush’s top diplomat, derided Donald J. Trump as a “national disgrace” and an “international pariah” in personal email exchanges that were leaked online Tuesday.

In the emails, reported by BuzzFeed News, Mr. Powell also accuses Mr. Trump, the Republican nominee for president, of having embraced what Mr. Powell called a “racist” movement when he questioned the validity of President Obama’s birth certificate.

An aide to Mr. Powell confirmed the hack and said, “They are his emails.”

“Yup, the whole birther movement was racist,” Mr. Powell wrote in an email to a former aide, according to BuzzFeed. “That’s what the 99% believe. When Trump couldn’t keep that up he said he also wanted to see if the certificate noted that he was a Muslim. As I have said before, ‘What if he was?’ Muslims are born as Americans everyday.”

Mr. Powell’s emails appeared online at a website called DCLeaks.com, according to BuzzFeed. The site has previously posted documents from hacking into prominent Democrats and some Republicans, according to news reports. In July, The Intercept reported on emails leaked to the site from Gen. Philip M. Breedlove, the former commander of NATO forces in Europe.

An aide to Mr. Powell, a retired general who also served as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, responded Wednesday morning to an inquiry about the emails: “We are confirming that General Powell has been hacked and that they are his emails. We have no further comment at this time.” Mr. Powell did not respond to an email sent directly to his personal account.

In a separate leaked email exchange reported by NBC News, Mr. Powell also criticized aides to Hillary Clinton, the Democratic candidate for president, for their attempts to “drag me in” to the controversies surrounding her use of a private email server when she was secretary of state.

In that email, Mr. Powell lamented that he had repeatedly told Mrs. Clinton’s “minions” that they are “making a mistake trying to drag me in, yet they still try.”

In her interview with the F.B.I. into the use of the email server, Mrs. Clinton told investigators that Mr. Powell had advised her to use a personal email account, according to notes of the interview disclosed to members of Congress by the bureau last month.

The Associated Press reported that in another leaked email, Mr. Powell, using Mrs. Clinton’s initials, wrote that “Everything HRC touches she kind of screws up with hubris.”

hu·bris/ˈ(h)yo͞obrəs/
noun
noun: hubris
excessive pride or self-confidence.
synonyms: arrogance, conceit, haughtiness, hauteur, pride, self-importance, egotism, pomposity, superciliousness, superiority; More
informalbig-headedness, ****iness
"the hubris among economists was shaken"
antonyms: humility
•(in Greek tragedy) excessive pride toward or defiance of the gods, leading to nemesis.

Hilary is an arrogant.
Trump is incompetent.

I pick arrogance. I suppose like a lot of men they just have a problem with a powerful women. Most orthodox religions don't promote women either. Don't feel bad.

I mean clinton cost the lives of thousands in Libya, against the advice of higher military commanders, the whole Bengazzi thing, etc.
This is like comparing apples to bombs.

Because that isn't the cause, it's your bad assumption based on bad information.

I don't understand what you mean. What isn't the cause?
What bad assumption did I make? That Hillary broke the law? That much is clear, why she is not being prosecuted is a mystery.

My point is we are talking about Donald Trumps taxes like that is some huge crime. Let's see the returns, what is the big? Wait and see.
Clinton is responsible for the deaths of thousands. Really, she clearly went against the expertise of SENIOR military people and we are doing nothing about that.
There should be a discussion on the news and for the most part it is just jumped over.

We can't talk about Trump and Hillary in the same vain. I don't deny he might have shady Business dealings, but do we really want the President of the United States
to be a person who goes against military advice? Who has already cost lives and who has really helped the middle east to be a worse place?

And we are talking about Trumps taxes? This is just mind boggling.
Hillary looks like she might fall over for good any day soon. The pneumonia story is probably a load of B.S. She has been coughing for months. She has looked
repeatedly like she has some form of neurological disease and those who support her won't talk about it. This should be just as important to supporters.
Something is wrong with her health and it is not just a pneumonia.

Where are you getting this crap from???..Truly amazing..Where is she responsible for thousands of deaths???When and Where??..What experts and senior military leaders did she go against??...The Secretary of State can't order an attack...Please provide color and links to facts...

And again, show where she committed a crime, I proved a few pages ago that she committed no crime with facts and laws on the books and a Supreme Court opinion as precedence, with no response from you...Please prove your case if you disagree...

Also, the reason why you want a look at Trump's taxes is to see his ties overseas...To see if and how much ties he has to Russia..He sure is doing massive contortions to kiss Putin's arse...To see how much money he has taken from his foundation and claim it as his own gifts on his taxes...This can be a crime...He paid a fine for his misdeeds already to the IRS..The Attorney General of New York is now investigating...Just like it's important to see the Clinton Foundation ties to world leaders, and we already have seen this, it is important to see Trump's business ties to banks and leaders around the globe...

88. Nalod beat me to the 500 generals that liked Romney. If you know what you are talking about that nugget of knowledge would have been at the tip of your tongue, it was for me and Nalod.

I laugh cause all you post is "I watched something on TV and some dude said something bad about Hilary"

No link to an article or CNN reference. No name of the person or exactly what they said. No other except "A former CIA guy said bad things". We both can play that game all day to no end. Put up something substantial/credible.

Getting 88 people to sign a paper is nice and all but half of those on the list are complete quacks. Would you like me to reference a few of their views for you? Or are you all in with the 88 who back Trump?

Can we dispense with the "I've followed this and know what I am talking about"? Both of us can do that all day and it doesn't get anyone anywhere. If you have something substantial, put it down so that all can read and follow your thought line. I'll do the same.

BRIGGS, here is one of those generals that signed Trumps letter of endorsement. Here is what he put out:

"We the People of the United States of America" are

What about all the complaining about gas prices and no jobs the republicans have been touting for the Obama years? Funny how quiet they are about the news that Incomes are going up, poverty and the uninsured are going down.

SEPT. 13, 2016 — The U.S. Census Bureau announced today that real median household income increased by 5.2 percent between 2014 and 2015 while the official poverty rate decreased 1.2 percentage points. At the same time, the percentage of people without health insurance coverage decreased.

Median household income in the United States in 2015 was $56,516, an increase in real terms of 5.2 percent from the 2014 median income of $53,718. This is the first annual increase in median household income since 2007, the year before the most recent recession.

The nation’s official poverty rate in 2015 was 13.5 percent, with 43.1 million people in poverty, 3.5 million fewer than in 2014. The 1.2 percentage point decrease in the poverty rate from 2014 to 2015 represents the largest annual percentage point drop in poverty since 1999.

The percentage of people without health insurance coverage for the entire 2015 calendar year was 9.1 percent, down from 10.4 percent in 2014. The number of people without health insurance declined to 29.0 million from 33.0 million over the period.

https://www.census.gov/newsroom/press-releases/2016/cb16-158.html

What was really interesting is that Urban and Suburban areas saw a 6% increase in income but Rural areas actually decreased by 2%. This explains why Trump has been so successful. There are 2 Americas. Urban and Rural and they aren't equal in the country's improvement. These people have been left behind and that's why you see Trump doing well with White Non College educated people.

Before Fox News the entire press apparatus was left wing. When they cam upon the scene they were, and still are, a balancing force. This is why their ratings are so high.
