i'm scared sh tless for this next game. i hope we can close them out. every game is a pick 'em and comes down to the final mins. if i wasn't bald already, i would be by now. we got bent far back yesterday but didn't break.
things are looking bleak for the nets i have to admit. williams and blatche have had very little floor impact, johnson has been erratic. your team has a promising future but i think lowery is playing over his head right now.
i picked nets in 6. i was wrong. still picking the nets to win the series in 7 b/c i have to give the benefit of the doubt to the team that has been there before plus the league wants that nets/heat matchup.
with that said, we play defense and we play with heart - we take on the image of our leader and that's lowry. he's playing like a star right now but if you ask most people around the league, they knew he could do it, it was just a matter of adjusting his attitude and feeling like it's his team without looking over his shoulder. ujiri had a major sit down with him before the season started and laid it all out and he's responded. imho, he is this generation's billups.
we have 2 starters at 22 and 21. derozan is 24. amir is 26 and lowry is 27. we have all our picks and some of yours. we also have a very tax/cap friendly salary situation soon. i shudder to think how good jonas is gonna be when he turns 24 (and that's still 3 years away) things are looking up. if we can get to the 50 win area and become a 2nd round team, i would call it a major major success over the next few years.
and smacked - sorry about bargs. thought he would at least be ok with you all but he may really be done.
