Well the Celtics were missing their best passer

We are also missing Amare...

Unless you mean Amare from a few years, that's a good thing for us.

Bonn, I give you credit for one thing, Of all the Sombers, at least u show up when the Knicks win as well...

I'm not a somber actually - I'm very optimistic about this team. They're significantly better than I thought they'd be. You and I just disagree on how much credit different players deserve.

LOL.. true, can't say the knicks are "missing" amare as he really wasn't here most of the year anyway.... now amare of a few years ago is a different story, but I am afraid that player is gone..

I would say until a year ago, I was a somber. Now I'm just a critic of overrated players and the first to praise underrated ones.

You know....at least it feels like the playoffs now. Besides the first 3 quarters of game 1 we've been dominating. It felt like an extension of the end of the regular season. I'd rather walk through the playoffs obviously, but that's not realistic.

But now that I had a taste of the intensity, I want us to beat the **** out of them Wednesday.

not sure why people are so into trying to label posters. From what I have seen, Bonn always shows up and has been a fair poster, just hasn't engaged in the idol worship of one or more players.....therefore I guess he got labeled a sombersomething.... really didn't understand that post anyway...

Do you know the definition of "somber"? How do you know my mental state about the team better than I do? You are more somber about many players on this team than I am actually, Mr. General!

For a offensive substitution when the game is on the line...I'd take Amar'e over Chandler any day.

Missed this one, saw in the bodega Boston got theirs. I'm not mad. They lost on my buddy the Celtics fan's birthday, so they owed him one. But I want them to take this. What's the roster for next game?

Great; that gives us a less efficient scorer who's also unlikely to rebound any of our misses.

Bonn, you were trying to give Tyson credit for the Knicks win streak until u realized he couldn't really play, you quieted that noise a bit..Yes or No???

No, I definitely have not "quited" my discussion of Tyson. Like a good scientist, I don't ignore incoming data though. Clearly at less than 100%, Tyson is a mediocre player. When healthy, Tyson is still our best player. My view hasn't changed.
Regardless, stop hating, Holfresh. He's sick, he's lost 10 lbs, he's trying really hard, and still helping the team.

Chandler's efficiency comes from lobs. Amar'e actually has a post up game and has better range than Chandler. So yea, it's easier to be spoonfed points. This season, even with injury, Amar'e averaged more points than Chandler did in way fewer minutes and got about half as many rebounds in that time.

Amare shot 58% from the field and can actually create his own shot btw

Felton has elevated his game and it's making a difference. It was a big deal for him to get Prigioni out there to help create cohesion and ball movement. Without Prigioni lately and Kidd as we all saw at the start of the season, the Knicks would not be very good at all.

I think they will handle the Pacers too. Home court is a big deal since the Pacers, oddly for a defensive team, are not a good road team. They seem to lack the firepower and Hibbert has underachieved.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I can't believe how much some Knick fans hate on STAT. Dude is still one of the all time most efficient scorers the NBA has ever seen. We're not talking about guys like Tyson that only dunk the ball. The only issue STAT has is that he's had poor health. There's NOTHING wrong with his game. We could've used STAT in a game like today!!!

Im starting to question how big of an effect he has now. There was a lot of isos this game depsite him being on the court.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

I suppose some of that has to do with the Celtic defense but I also think that poise and composure are a big factor in a hostile playoff environment. You throw fundamentals out the window when the game is ninety percent mental and sticking to the script is not as expedient as isolation ball. I was really disappointed by our last minute of overtime. We didn't really execute anything like a genuine play from what I saw.
