So Houston wanted both Jorts/Jordan, just to screw us/limit us from making more trades, when we aren't even in their division.

I think it was to make the salaries work. I think Grunwald structured Jorts and Jordan's contracts so that they were easy to trade/waive. I now think he resigned Toney to use as a cap insert in a trade.

If they keep Douglas, it will be them who are screwed in the end.

how could Delfino only get himself a 1 year deal? He's always impressed me when I see him play.

yeah, maybe I just take it for granted that they'd want to stay in the NBA. La Bomba Navarro sure didn't feel like sticking around.

OKC continues to add YOUNG talent with Lester Hudson in addition to low risk/high reward of

Hasheem Thabeet

Daniel Orton

Hollis Thompson

Perry Jones

I understand that they already have many PG's but Kidd could develop Westbrook/Harden in to much better players alone, not to mention make things easier for Durant/Ibaka and their bigs.
I think KIDD would fit in nicely with the great penetration that OKC has with Westbrook/Harden has.
He can mentor them and teach the team how to set up/facilitate with his leadership and experience.
They have players that would could make up for Kidd's DEF at his age and can use his knowledge.

Knicks just do not have the penetration and DEF to make up his deficiency's
With Lin no longer here, the only player that he can develop is Iman Shumpert.
While many of us have doubts if he can ever become a PG, a backup PG, or at least a better combo guard with better playmaking/facilitating abilities.

any news on andray blatche? I STILL think hes a huge talent that GMs should NOT give up on!

6-10 big man who put up 16ppg and 7rebs..i know he has some immaturity issues but:

1. with the right group of vets, i think hell grow up
2. is he REALLY worse than JR? (have u seen his tweets lately?..lol...funny but immature)

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Don't know if anyone has made this connection yet, but Blatche seems to me like an Eddy Curry type. Tons of talent, no work ethic, no brains.

At age 25, do you give up on a talent like blatche?

Thats a tough question. I thought the Knicks made a huge mistake when they signed Shawne Williams. He definitely is worth a camp invite. I think the fact that he is still out there says something about how teams feel about him.

Sean Williams was waived today. Guy has a ton of talent. With the strong vet presence on the Knicks he might be a great pickup.

Apparently this is on hold because Greene needs ankle surgery.

The TImberwolves sent a scout to watch Andray Blatche work out and "is said to be open to taking the minimum," according to ESPN 1500's Darren Wolfson.
Blatche had been previously rumored to be drawing minor interest from both the Heat and Spurs, but nothing ever really materialized for either team. Blatche averaged 16.8 points and 8.2 rebounds on 44.5 percent shooting in 2010-11, but he was miserable last season with averages of 8.5 points and 5.8 rebounds on 38 percent shooting. The Timberwolves are known to be in the market for a big man, so the interest in Blatche makes some sense.

Knicksjournal is reporting Toney Taylor JR is working out for the Celtics tomorrow. Hopefully the Knicks still sign/give him a camp invite.

Blatche is talented but the guy only cares about his stats.

He doesn't care about winning or losing.

that can change as people grow up and learn maturity...esp with vet teammates...id take my chances on a 6-10 big man who posted 16& 9

@crushalot = we have 8000 PGs...dont need another one in taylor

Knicksjournal suggested him as a dl prospect but also said he could blow up like Jermemy Lin. His game was compared to Isiah's. With the roster expanded to 15 he might be better to keep around as a prospect in the dl than say a James White. I know White is very athletic but the sl action I saw him in ihe did not stand out. If your an nba guy and you play in the sl you should standout.
