Poor Adelman...he went through this with the Kings/Lakers already. Gotta feel for him..."you see what happened, they're not going to call anything" He knows.

All you east coast cats are probably asleep by now. Looks like I'm going to be dancing with myself for this game.

he's never going to be the offensive force that Lebron is, but Lebron will never be the rebounding & shotblocking force that Dwight is either... can't expect Dwight to be another Shaq either, how many Shaq's have there ever been in the history of the NBA? there's only been 1 other bigman who's been more dominant physically during his heyday & that was Wilt pretty much... gotta remember now, Dwight Howard came straight outta HS... he didn't have the luxury that Ewing had to develop his game at Georgetown & hit the NBA as a 23 yo rookie... compare Ewing's rookie season to Dwight now & the only thing Ewing was better at is scoring... Dwight's better in rebounding by a significant margin, & his shotblocking total is better also, as is his FG %... i ain't trying to say he's gonna be better than Ewing, but he definitely has the potential to be that level of a player through his career & it's not a stretch to imagine it if u ask me.

Four stitches to close Battier's eye. He was a mess.

Thats the thing, Shaq couldnt do anything to you offensively beyond three feet from the rim early on. He worked hard to become a more well rounded offensive player. Once that happened, he went from really, really good to all-time great. It will be interesting to see if Howard has that kind of dedication.

And I dont see Howard v Ewing at all. Man, Ewing would just torture you. Would bomb on your ass from 15-20 ft. and dare you to come out with him. Once you did that, it was a wrap because then he would just mash on you from the inside. And Ewing wasnt 1/10th the athlete that Howard is. He just wanted it more. Plus, Ewing was mean as shyt. If Howard cant dunk, he's lost. He'll still keep smiling regardless and making commercials.

At some point Howard needs to go from good to great and I dont see the skill or desire for him to do that. I could be wrong. Thats just what I see.

I sit down and turn on the Smeltics and man the place is quiet! 28 pt lead!

wow, wife and I are gonna enjoy this!!!!

They go on that run, all without Marbury!

I like Marbury admitting he was clinically a mess after he finally won a first round series. For him its all about approval. Im not marv, but I finally understand this guy.
I remember when Isiah had to tell him he was "successful human". They guy is just afraid.

Rashard lewis just wilts under the lights. I like JFG. Small guy that made it big. But his Stan van Brother is a turd. Flat out cannot coach. They guy losses his cool.

Kudos for finally getting JJ Redic to contribute and the guy is moving the ball and shooting. Then stan rests him, ok, but bring him back. HE MOVES THE BALL!!

Don't matter, Cavs are walking to finals.

we'll see... i can see the concerns u have about his demeanor, but i definitely think the work ethic is there... u don't get that kinda physique w/just good genes alone... since he's been in the NBA he's improved his footwork down low, positioning to go after rebounds & defensive awareness by leaps & bounds... now he's working on his offensive game... i know he'll never be the shooter that Ewing was, but that don't mean he can't be a great player in his own right... time will tell on him but right now he's the best C in the game, way better than Yao Ming... u can only play the guys that are on the court afterall... can't compete against a memory.

It's funny the way people feel about Marbury in NY is the same way that people feel about Redick in Central Florida. Talk about the grass being greener.

Phil just OWNED Craig Sager just now.

Sager: "What do you do to keep that trend going tonight?" (IRT the Lakers dominating the 4th vs Houston)
Phil: "Trying to get you away from my bench with that Bozo the Clown suit you got on there. You're scaring my people. Look at this thing."

You know how everyone was making fun of Nate about a month ago for his haircut? Now he looks like a trend setter because every game I see at least two guys with the same haircut now. What type of haircut is that? I gotten too old and can't keep up with the new styles.

Yao with the double interlocking circle spin to draw the foul and make it a ten point lead!
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

That was all thanks to Aaron Brooks. He's killed the Lakers tonight.

Go Rockets. Been routing for them for quite some time now.

wow, the rockets really handed it to the lakers last night, great game. saw the whole thing, beginning to end. incredible. yao is a monster, a pure unadulterated chunk of butt-kick.
they're my dark horse in the west. if they can get game 2 in la its over. they're going to the finals.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.
