Great win.

Clutch shooting.

Marbs was big, torched billups..

jeffries and balk defended rip well late..

Lee was a rock as usual..

curry was good, but got killed by nazr on the boards, should not happen..

Jamal was fire, won that game for us..

Frye was big, hit the big shot, got big board.

great win. We win despite a hot RIP and crazy officiating...

Ignore it Holfresh! No one can take away our JOY! We've kept the faith in this team and now that it's starting to jell and really learn how to win, people are just angry to see it happening and can't give Isiah or the players proper credit for winning despite still not doing everything right. They're FIGHTING PEOPLE! That is a GREAT SIGN! Isiah will keep on working with these guys until they get it and when they do look out!

Did you watch the game against Philly? Every time Lee was one on one with Iggy he stayed in front. He didn't even give him enough room to hit 3s. The problem was that Lee was rarely on him. Iggy got his when other people were trying to contain him.

As for tonight, how do you rationalize bringing our best player this year off the bench? If Isiah was so worried about Prince, he could try Lee on him for the first few mins and then bring in Jefferies off the bench. Just doesn't make sense that Jefferies starts over Lee.

RIP GOT FITY it's ova, what good is jeffries if we don't put him on rip earlier in the game. Isiah nwas tripping tonight

Isiah did an awful job with matchups and the rotation the entire night. Lee can stay with Prince, the guy did a tremendous job on Iggy when he was matched up with him. I can't believe Lee is coming off the bench again by the way.

Great games by Craw, Marbury, Curry (only on the offensive end), and clutch shots from Frye. Lee didn't have a great game and still got his -- the guy is a machine.

Crawford had the best game of the season by far -- he was a distributor until we needed him to take over.

Are you for real or are you just doing this to get a rise out of me???...Lee was being torched by Iggy...Iggy was hitting wide open threes all night....Isiah did a great job tonight...Are you watching these games by gamecast???

How many times did you see Delfino hit open threes when Lee wasn't closing out...

Hell yeah! They are playing like a TEAM.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

The starting spot is symbolic. As long as he keeps getting solid PT and we keep hustling out wins, I'm cool.

Okay... I watched the entire game but I didn't check the game thread, so I don't know how many times our players were ridiculed or lamabasted on this board, but I have to say WHAT A GREAT GAME AND WHAT A GREAT WIN!!!!!! And if any of you b!tches were whining and crying, then you really are just awful, eternal pessimists and frankly, losers.

Anyhow, I was so pleased with the all around effort of this team tonght. Except for Francis, the body language on everyone was excellent tonight. The guys fought there ***es off and really had a great TEAM win. At different times of the game, different players came up HUGE.

Curry was a beast for most of regulation and had some clutch rebounds and buckets in overtime.

Marbury carried us at many different times tonght, hit the clutch 3 free throws and played with passion, fire and confidence. Every time it looked like we were about to be in trouble, he made a play and got us going in the right direction again.

Crawford hit shot after huge shot in the overtimes. He took it to the hole, he pulled up and drained and he hit his free throws. He really was feeling it for a little while. I don't love him taking those unscripted last second shots time after time, but that doens't really matter right now.

Frye hit the buzzer beater to send it to the third. Lee had big rebounding numbers again, though I thought he rode a bit more pine then I would've liked. And Jeffries was decent enough.

Overall, great victory. I didn't think Clyde was correct in saying that it would've been a devistating loss, had we not been victorious, as I thought there were so many positives in this game, even without the W. But I DO think this is the kind of win (not to mention our 4th out of our last 5) that can get the Knicks believeing in themselves more than they have in a long time. Enjoy the night, Knick fans. I know I certainly did/will.
"It was good," Curry said. "I killed Malik, Jerome. The usual suspects. It felt good."

Thanks Crzy. As an eternal optimist, who has watched almost every game for the past three seasons, it's nice to get a W like this and feel good about the fellas, even if it's just for a short while :). Which I don't believe it is. I believe and now the players hopefully will start to believe, that this division is ours for the taking. Great W and building block tonight.

The Knicks have now beaten all the top teams in the east this season, unless you count Toronto. We can take the division if we can beat teams like Boston, Toronto and New Jersey.

how sweet would it be to win the division and play Chicago in the first round as the 4/5 matchup?

I think someone said it best before the break, we tend to play to the level of our opponents. We have put some great wins together against Cleveland, Utah, Chicago, and now Detroit, but it's when we start beating the lower tier teams that we can begin to be taken seriously.

Not as sweet as sticking Mardy Collins on Nocioni...

I agree to an extent - we have to separate ourselves from the mediocre/bad crowd. we need to put our foot on the neck of a team like Boston or Golden State. On our trip, it'll be really interesting to see how we handle the Seattle, Portland and Sacramento on the Western trip. at this point, those are winnable games for this team, especially if Qrich is back.

It's a two sided sword. You can't write off the Knicks in any game, but likewise, you can't consider them a lock either.
I guess that's just the NBA for you.
