I think he's probably my favorite player on the Pacers. He can ball, and he's humble/respectful/fun-loving/arrogant/prideful/cocky all in one.

Hibbert is awesome. Especially now that he isn't playing the Knicks. His hook shot can't be defended.

YEP, he's the kind of player that I can fully enjoy when he's not killing our team. LOL

But he actually had me after game 1 of the semis when he still spoke very respectfully about the Knicks, called them a great team, despite the fact that the Pacers had just kicked their asses. He's a good guy.

There was a putback by him down the stretch that TOTALLY defeated/pissed off LeBron. In that moment, I think it dawned on him that there was a good chance the Heat were not going to win this game.

Great game tonight. It was tough getting bounced by the Pacers, and I still think we can beat them, but I have respect for them because they are tough. I don't know what's gotten into Hibbert, but he's one of the few NBA centers who is truly playing his size. When he dominates the glass the Pacers win.

Stevenson....I have no idea how he makes any shots. That crazy fool continues to make an impact.

I love how the pacers defended the post today. They don't double but they have every other defender show for a split second to give the illusion that there is no space to operate. This is the way I wish we would defend the post. Woody's plan to double team everyone in the post no matter how good they are is what kills our defense. We are never set and we are always rotating to try and catch up to the ball.

No one cares enough about your theory to change their posting style.
You've set up at best a vague theory that incorporates almost any piece of data. So it is not surprising you were "right."
If we interpret your theory literally, than it was probably falsified last night. You said the Pacers would play tight in the fourth quarter at home but they played pretty evenly with the Heat in the fourth quarter.

Yeah his theory changes from game to game depending the results and then probability....what a parody show.

No my theory never changed, but you did in your approach to try and attack the point I made.

Home teams play timid at home when the opposing team brings it for 48 min , visiting team play loose, so if the game is close , especially at the end home team gets nervous .

I have to disagree with your theory..I think Miami was under more pressure in game 3 because they lost home court advantage...They had to win game three or be down 2-1 with another game to play in Indy...JVG was also asked about the pressure in an interview this morning on Mike and MIke..He said the noise and home court doesn't bother a vet team until the last few mins of a close game..he also thought the pressure was on Miami...

Well I disagree with you and Jeff Vandummy, the pressure is on the home team to win games AT HOME in front of their fans. When the opposing team is playing hard , your fans want you to match their intensity , that in itself puts more pressure on you to perform.

There is no pressure on the visiting team, no family and friends to deal with before the game. You are loose and ready to take names the us against the world mentality is enough to bring it for 48 minutes.

Denver's home record was 38-3, Miami 37-4, OKC 34-7...Washington..22 of their 29 wins at home ..SAC 20 of their 28 wins at home ...Charlotte 15 of their 21 wins at home...In Football, the home team gets an extra 3 pts in their favor added to the point spread..

Every single team in the NBA had a better home record than road record this past year..In 2011, NJ and Minny are the only teams with better road records..In 2010, SAC is he only team with a better road record..

Bosh (3 rbs a game, <1 block) is scoring more but overall has looked at least as bad as Tyson did against Hibbert.

Playa, can you go back say 10 years and give us the win-loss % of the home team vs. the visiter?

Is this a current trend? Say, this year?

I went to sleep a little after halftime, from what I'm reading the refs decided who would win, did King James foul out ? Yea maybe they read my post after you sent the refs a couple of dollars from your savings a head of time. My trend had to do with the playoffs this year , you can go back ten yrs if you like professor.

Why would this year's playoffs be any different than regular season or any previous year's playoffs???

I thought the ref's wanted Miami and lebron in the finals?

Do you realize as great as the Spurs are, the luster of a Indy-San antonio series lacks ratings power because small market teams?

Playa, you can't say EVERYTHING is a conspiracy can you? If you did not watch the game then I can't "sell you" on what happend.

Don't put me on a pedestal, you among many say the refs has their hand in the outcome of games in the playoffs why are you trying to change now ? Lebron and the heat will play against the Spurs in the finals, Indiana win last night has peaked the interest of those who were waiting for the finals to watch the NBA again.
Remember the ref takeovers playoff games LA vs Phoe LA vs Sactown NY vs Chicago Dallas vs Miami etc...

It isn't Pacer love it is extreme Heat hate. It was great seeing the Rat's face when LBJ got t'd up. It is great seeing that team struggle. Way too much history with them not to want them to fail and the current edition is just obnoxious.

What about Spurs love? They have one of our rings, but I have to admit, I kinda have a mancrush on that team.
