i don't know man - he plays a gold glove 2nd base and gets you 200 hits in the 7th spot in the lineup - that's not easily replaceable.

Its pretty much impossible to replace, .320 gold glove hitting 2nd baseman who are younger than 30 don't exactly grow on trees. You'd probably lose at least 200 pts of OPS by replacing him with someone like Pena.

He comes across better on paper than he does on the field, especially when it comes to big time baseball. He plays real small in the playoffs. Yanks could get a lot for him and improve the team, further. Just saying.

He's the next Carlos Bearga.

this is why i hate tv broadcasts - they never tell you if anyone's warming up and they never show you how the players are positioned in the field.

with that said, cc just ate the rally monkey...

There's not much the Yankees could do to improve any other position on the field, and would take a big deficit at 2nd base. There's no reason to move the guy. He carries the team offensively at times.
