Davis won't give you a consistent fast pace when he himself has described his health as 75%. Bibby gets a contract to play what? 5 minutes? And Douglas is vanished completely.

This team should've picked up a young PG from NBDL and tried its luck. This isn't a tough Mike D system you hjave to learn. You just need a healthy body that can penetrate and dish.

But that's water down the bridge. I just hope Lin can recover to come back at some point in the first round.

Could not agree more. Though, I don't think the interim coach has that discretion. The Lakers picked up Sessions and he is playing well for them. I wish we could have picked up a REAL PG. It was an obvious need.

"I thought our pace was so slow," Woodson said. "I mean, we've got to get the ball up the floor a lot quicker and get into our offense. We missed a lot of good shots. I thought the one stretch that we got to the penalty in the third quarter, we didn’t utilize the free throw line and kind of lived on jump shots. That's on me. I've got to get guys to understand time, score, situations. I didn't do a good job with that tonight."

When the rhythm is too much of the same, the defense has an advantage setting a tempo, which the Heat were able to do on Sunday. Looking ahead, Davis said that's something he needs to change.

"We just have to play at a better pace offensively," he said. "Melo is great for us in the halfcourt offense. I think for the rest of us, we have to play in a better pace. That falls on my shoulders, which I don't have a problem with, being able to push the ball up and get guys easy shots."

We were coming back from spring break in the car and following the game on mobile web. Bsron came back in at around the 6-7 minute mark and just from reading the little blurb summaries that they gave it sounded like it was a pretty rough stretch and his bad play put the game out of reach for the Knicks. I am not sure if that is accurate because it was just a couple of words giving the highlights. However, that was how it sounded.

Unfortunately, his rough stretch was the whole game.

Anyone else notice Shump been slowing it down when he is about to shoot as he took it to the rim. He's learning to take it down a notch and lower a gear a bit. Hopefully he's gonna stop selling out layups with some exp.
