They want that abstract feel good starphuch feeling we all want after a draft. The warm fuzzy feeling the future will be ok and the team on paper will be better.

What's wrong with you? Where is your sense of reason? We have 2 stars in their prime and all we have to do is surround them with role players. The Mavs did it with one All Star!!! How can you equate where this team is now with anything in the last 10 years? I guarantee that this team doesn't get swept in a 1st rd playoff again from here on.

With every improvement in the overall talent on this team we creep closer to the top of the East. We still need to plug holes, most particularly at C. But this isn't anything like what we went thru over the last 10 years. This is a good team getting better.

You've told us that it's a new era and we're on pace for 45 to 50 wins every off-season

Who cares what nixluva thinks? His opinion on the Knicks needs to be taken with a grain of salt and can't represent every other positive and semi-positive Knick fan out there.

If you are honestly trying to say this franchise right now is no better off than 3, 4, 5 years ago then you don't know what you're talking about.

Sure, the Carmelo trade sucked. But he's no Eddy Curry. He will help us much more than the fat man ever did.

We had some injuries and a weak team due to the trade so the sweep wasn't too surprising. We will be back stronger next season.

No, we are a little better off. Walsh was a better starphucker than Isiah or Layden were but it's still starphucking and we're building with the goal of padding Dolan's pockets rather than winning a championship. The current Knicks' squad is a glorified version of the Isiah-Layden regimes.

Layden and Isiah's teams never had a player like Stoudemire or Anthony.

The proof will have to be in the results and I haven't seen anything to disprove my statement the we have a glorified version of those teams. All I care about are results.

As usual the "Nixluva is drinking the koolaid" crap emerges! So what if my predictions are a little higher than the norm! Does that change the fact that this team has improved in the manner Donnie setout to do? Donnie planned for 2 All Stars and cap space for a possible 3rd, all in their primes. How is that a bad thing?

In 3 years this team has been remade and in the hunt for title contention! This is a good team that can be made better. I'm secure in the knowledge that this will be one of the better teams in the East. You can say what you want about me but I know I'm not wrong and I'll enjoy the team for what it is. It's better than it was but some Knick fans can't enjoy anything!

You have unrealistic optimism. It's weak but it's also good for mental health. At least you enjoy it.

Anything is possible.

Had you told a Mavs fan they would win the NBA Championship at the start of the season, Im sure they wouldn't have really believed it.

Knicks are on the right track and are closer than we think. I say we because other teams, especially their fans, have taken notice and have NY as one if not the most scary team going forward. Many are sure that the Big Three will happen here, but the better version.
