it was a brilliant play call, it crazy cause it was so easy to get.

Disgusting. And Although Toney got Tripped you can't fall on a play like that..Why didn't Dantoni have Landry Fields defending Ray Allen there when he had such a great game.

Also How would you guys say Jefferies play'd...think he hurt us a lot in this game on the Offensive side.

I hope Billups is okay.

Turiaf is key for this series. We need him out there and out of foul trouble. At least he can make layups.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

A loss like this is actually a problem for us. We can respond one of two ways, we could continue the play and win game 2. Or we could just lose it and get blown out in game 2. What a waste of Amare's monster game, still pist how they stole this game.

the celtics feel like that one team you just cant beat, but once you beat them the rest is gravy.

I thought Jeffries played as good as he could play. Any time he is on the court, he hurts our offense, but he was playing very good D.
He was the reason they had to call timeout. He was Defending rondo and rondo couldn't see to inbound. After timeout, he gets a kick ball, then Doc changes inbound passer. So jefferies was guarding any more. I actually think he should of stayed on the inbound pass.

That is a good point..I wouldn't trust Jeffries chasing Allen through screens though.

Toney Douglas still has a lot to learn on Defense also..the 3 point play given up to Allen and the fall on chasing Allen were awful.

Can't really complain on the Knicks effort tonight..they play'd their hearts out..especially defensively.

Turiaf did a great job except for that very last alleyoop to KG. Turiaf was the key to our defense and really anchored well. Garnett did nothing all game basically.

We also had a great strategy on Rondo. He couldn't hit the shot consistently and didn't get an opportunity to freelance much.

It was really Ray Ray and Jermaine O'Neal that hurt us.

Billups even slower, no way he can get around the picks.

This one is on Melo. If he makes some shots in the second half, we're home. Refs or no refs.

Banging those knees is not helping his speed.

they played him tough and the celtics played good D on him.. some questionable shot selection but you have to expect that from the celtics forcing them into shots they want you to take. his shot just wasn't falling in the 2nd half...

we have some calls get properly called... amar'e hits some free throws... melo makes a shot... we win... celtics escaped with it... we have to kick it up a notch the next game.

Ouch! Tough loss.

Amare was amazing! Melo not so tonite. Low score and good defense.

Lots of things not to like but they didn't melt down and came back to take a lead.

Ray Allen is amazing and celts got their crap together.

Moral victory, But a loss where it counts.

Gotta get the split. Need Billups.

Hell, how often are they gonna call that in the regular season. Just an atrocious call.

The OF call on Melo was the correct call. Him and Billups make some damn shots and we're not even talking about it.

Just watched the replay of last sequence and that was an atrocious shot by Melo..Toney Douglas was wide open right next to him. But you know what...I would rather him take that shot honestly. I sleep better knowing one of our best players took the shot.

Its too bad Boston didn't use that foul to give on us, because we needed some time to regroup there.

Disagree..was not correct call and won't be called for rest of playoffs. Pierce is hugging Melo..grabbing and holding him..Melo is freeing himself..Pierce flops to bait Ref and ref calls it with 30 seconds in a PLAYOFF GAME?? Awful Call.
