This series/rivalry always has a much different feel when they play in Boston, much more rabid and heated atmosphere and I prefer it more there than at Staples. Big game, when series is tied 1-1 in NBA finals 2-3-2 format history the game 3 winner has won the series all 10 times

this game has exactly that atmosphere.. And D Fish !!! F*ckin wow!

Yep. I was going to post the same. Ray plays with fool's gold. Just like Riley used to say looks great one night and looks like junk the next. The life of a NBA jump shooter particularly a 3 point guy.

Celts actually had good offense today, there is no excuse for Ray Allen to go 0-13 from the field. No amount of coaching or game planning is going to fix that.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Ray should've drove the ball more but there was no shots out there for anyone. Looked like Bynum's knee buckled again--he was dead after he came up limp--they play the Cs better with Bynum than LO and I wonder if that was the end game for Bynum right there--could change the series. At best I think he will only be 20 minute guy with even more limitation LO and Artest have to play more consistent--that was like watching the Knicks and Heat tonight.

He was driving to the hoop. I actually think he drove too much --- he was missing layups and getting his stuff altered left and right. He has no lift or jump in the lane and when his shots are not falling it makes his ballhandling and driving way more suspect.

Boston has to win two in a row else they are pretty much toast.

I want a great series more than anything, so hopefully Boston wins tonight. Their 2008 meeting took a bit of a hit when Boston went up 3-1 by taking game 4 and basically removed all of the suspense from the series. Hopefully the Celts nod it up tonight, that would set the stage for a hugely anticipated game 5 on Sunday night

If the Lakers do win this series, if things keep up like this Kobe better not win finals MVP. Gasol has been the best Laker in this series hands down and is also averaging about 4 blocks a game in the series. They'll probably give it to Kobe even if he keeps shooting 39%

As soon as I make that Kobe post the SOB knocks down 3 straight, 2 from downtown in a span of like 2 minutes

I still think to this point, Gasol has been the best Laker in the series though. Obviously things can change by the time they lock this series up (if they do)

Celtics need Ray Allen to show up, this is pathetic. He had one GREAT half in this series and has otherwise been garbage or in foul trouble

Marv, Kobe had a good game one (a game Gasol dominated), a foul plagued/blah game 2, a horrifying shooting game in game 3. And today he had that solid 2 minute spurt just now, they were winning the game midway through the second with him only having taken 4 shots

Gasol has thoroughly dominated his matchup in the series, and if they went to him more in game 3 they would have had a much easier time winning than watching Kobe trade bricks with Ray allen

re game 3 - i'm less interested in a guy's shooting percentage at this point than his hitting the key shots for wins. as kobe did in game 3.
