The Heat went 37-4 at home. What we are witnessing is that D Wade is old and hurt.

Heat are nervous wreck when the games mean something at home against a team coming to play 48 minutes. Watch what happen in Indiana, when they play loose.

I'm talking playoffs reg season doesn't mean squat now.

They're over .700 at home in the playoffs too. I think you're overanalyzing the mental state of the players. With Wade injured, the Heat and Pacers look pretty evenly matched to me.

You seem to not comprehend what I mean when I say " When opposing teams coming to play 48 minutes" That's ok just watch the difference when the Pacers face a team that's good come to play 48 mintues and their coach puts them in position to win.

I'm not taking anything away from the Pacers, they are playing very well. But when a coach puts his team in position to win on the road and play 48 minutes the home team has played with jitters and guys are afraid to shoot. Miami played with Jitters in both games, now watch the Pacers do the same and lose their 1st home game.

Knicks had the Pacers in the same position(they almost lost gm 6) but Woodson didn't keep the gas pressed down enough to win.

The Pacers are "very good." Yet when they win it's always because the opponent was nervous, forgot that they were supposed to play for 48 minutes, and had a bad coach.

You act like you haven't watch home teams against good opponent play with Jitters at crunch time before. LOL

Why do you think the heat are undefeated on the road..... less pressure to win on the road because they aren't expected to win. Home fans are very demanding ...see NY KNICKS

well it's a 4 game sample against mediocre opponents.
You act like you don't realize Wade is hurt and not playing as well as he used to

Im not mad. This is what you do.

Paul George is allowed to defend and pick his spots because he has Hibbert and West contributing big in the playoffs. He is very good but the NBA is funny like that. Rudy Gay was the next BIG thing until he got paid. Now he is old news.

Rudy Gay was never that high....Matter of fact hardly no one pursued Gay in free agency he was not part of the Grizz's playoff series win against the Spurs.... he was injured then and when Zach arrived he had to take a backseat to him along with Gasol....much like Mayo had to.

West didn't play well against us if you recall correctly. Paul George doesn't pick his spots as in he has so little talent, he's getting by on being in a good situation. George is an overall high IQ player who has such a balanced game it makes it easy for himself and his teammates. He helps make Hibbert and West better as he's the facilitator to both of them and helps stretch the floor for them to operate. He's able to impact the game without scoring.

There are only maybe 1-2 players in this league who can guard Lebron and look fairly adequate doing it.....none of them are Knicks this we do know.

If you look back at regular season Hibbert played like garbage until the last 2mos of season. Meanwhile George was their rock all yr all across the board.

Melo matches up very well with LBJ. There are two guys in Chicago that defend LBJ very well. George defends him very well. I think if the Nets had advanced Wallace would have done a good job. The east is stacked with 3/4's that are supposed to match up with the King.

Scoring 30 pts back to back is guarding Lebron well. George is good but he has a wall behind him. That's why people attack when Hibbert is off the floor and shoot a much higher percentage. Also, the evidence hurts your point of elite status when you want a 42% player to take more shots. His percentage has already declined as his shot attempts increased. George is a very nice young player that is developing. Hopefully he continues on his way.

Agreed. The whole is greater than the sum of the Pacers parts. They have a great mix of size, length, and strength to be a tremendous defensive team. The sideline-to-sidleine court coverage is great due to the length, and with Hibbert in the back, it allows the perimeter players to press-up tight.....

Heat got a case of the Nerves? Please stop!

Give the Pacers credit, they played a hell of a game last nite!

Heat pressed them and they kept it up.

As a hoop fan the last two games were some of the most entertaining games back to back! Great series.

Heat are fortunate to only lose one.

lulz what we are WITNESSING with certain posters is there angle of posting is being blown to smithereens as each games goes by.

So they come back with a different agenda or excuse worse than the previous one they made. They move on to talking about what players should have been played, to injuries, to coaches getting out coached not being that good, to Rudy Gay, to team home records.

Uptwon I agree and I always maintained our some of parts as a whole were never that good, and that proved to be the case.

Watch the next 2 games , watch how nervous the Pacers get at the end of the game, didn't you watch game 6 of the knicks series. Woody took his foot off the gas we should have won that game before Melo threw to consecutive passes away.

Oh I forgot you're more concerned and hope to try to prove me wrong. LOL

I gave the Pacers credit I watched the game, but I know the heat play loose on the road that's why they haven't lost there in the playoffs . You guys crack me up , really you do.

Mimai does play solid on the road, no different than the Pacers haven't lost a single home game in the playoffs.

Both trends will bend imo.

The dap between Lebron and George may be the most significant display of sportsmanship during ANY pro game.

That's a good point. It's scary to think that Granger, Rondo, and Rose will be returning to the east next season and D Wade is pretty badly injured.

What does Indy do with Granger? Do they start him at the 3, move him to the 6th man, or trade him because they think he is too injury prone. I would start him but Indy may think Lance will improve as a starter. I also see value for him as a 6th man.

regarding Rondo: I think that depends on what the Celtics look like and then how long it takes Rondo to regain his form. If Peirce and Garnett leave what kind of team would the Cs be? Roles would be altered. Its an interesting summer for Boston.

Those are good questions. Boston should have rebuilt like 3 years ago.
Granger and George are highly versatile 6'8" forwards. I really wouldn't worry about finding ways for them to be on the court together. I don't know enough about Granger's condition but it sounds like he's expected to fully recover following surgery.

Duncan loses weight and gets better. Flu loses weight and can't rebound, hold onto the ball or defend.

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.
