Not once in the past 10 years have I woken up and asked a different question. Everyday I scratch my head and ask: who in their right mind would vote for this insane loser?

He has clearly always has been a clinical textbook mentally ill person.

Thus, every day I go to sleep with the same answer: a large percentage Americans are mentally ill, because they should be smart enough to know they are the frogs voting for the scorpion who asks them for a ride across the pond, yet they support a person who will destroy them regardless. Mental illness of various kinds will amplify reality distortion. The inability of Americans to rationally assess the threat they rolled out the red carpet for, not once, but twice, has demonstrated what happens when a general population is so mentally incapacitated they will throw their freedom away for a glib promise from the worst charlatan this country has ever seen. It reminds now of the creepy scene from the Silence of the Lambs sequel where Lecter is eating Ray Liotta's brains with his chianti and Ray gives him an ethered grin and a thumbs up. Half of this country become that Ray Liotta character.

(and before anyone freaks out and starts whining about politics, chill out. none of us vent very often, this is my Summer vent, you'll have to wait until Fall for another one of these, so you'll live. Besides, if you haven't noticed lately this country is pretty well fcked right now and ICE has resumed openly slaughtering American citizens)

He is relentless. Exacting tarifs on Canada calling the fires "Willingful negligence" is oburd. even for the mad king himself.
His war and lack of accountablity is astonishing.
Many in the voting party are not mentally ill, just politically and socially illiterate.

"Scorpion and Frog" is a good analogy! Its really our nature and has been for quite some time. Its seeped out an oozing ugly underbelly that has long been part of our history. We do some really good things, but not always.

Knicks were a great respite this spring! I pray for all the military famiiles who are doing thier duty but for reasons not so clear to many of us.

Yes, taking a vow to defend the constitution and then being sent off to a pointless conflict by a frivolous man bent on destroying that constitution has put quite the chill on military service. Not all personnel feel that way, but I know for a fact many of them are counting the days until there is a new commander in chief.
