No way should we have been down to that team by 20 regardless if JR was in the line up or not.I've said this before, Woodson really needs to open up his playbook some. We either run pnr or give the ball to Melo/JR and get out of the way....
I disagree...we came out with agression, but the Celtics obviously had more to start. The start of the game at home, down 0-3...was gonna be impossible to match the intensity, but they did for most of the game. I'm proud of the way the Knicks approached the game. The problem is they didn't get enough good shots and they didn't make shots. Melo pressed too much in this one with JR out.
We almost hit our season average for Turnovers in the first half. Lots of lazy/sloppy passes, throwing the ball our of bounds says head is not all the way in the game and the Celts shot 50% from the field. Woody even panicked a little by putting in Q over Cope. Seriously! Listen the Knicks are human, I wasn't shocked by a let down after going up 3-0 not to mention, the Celts are former champs. Knew they were going to come out emotionally charged up. We have to jump on them right from the start on Wednesday...
