yeah, they played down the stretch with no PG, basically. their best unit was: Shump, JR, Fields, Melo, Tyson.

They played without a pg from 7+ minutes in the 4th until the end. Also another great move by woody was the timeout around minutes left in OT to get their legs back under them.

I hate him like he got my favorite coach fired.

And even though he played hurt as a point forward early in the season and my favorite coach wanted him to stand in the corner and wait for the right shot later in the season, I'm going to keep saying he was fat and didn't care to play all year.

And even though I'm watching one of the best offensive weapons in the league when the ball is in his hands and his teammates getting great looks because of it, I'm still going to act like he could have played this well with my favorite coach if he would have just stood in the corner and watched 90-95 pick and rolls that didn't involve Melo at all!!!!!!!

Thing was he wasn't off my much..he was barely missing everything against supreme defense. Now JR...he was OFFFFF

Novak was scared a little...he passed up wide open threes two times...That play where it seems like Noah knocked him out of bounds( he fell down on his own), he was open when he got the ball...

Good points...I just can't believe how Novak was so off

he didn't get a lot of clean looks, and the one he had to tie the game was 99% down.. how that came out was amazing..

Not that shot..He was open before Noah got there..Doesn't matter..The kid has been huge for us all year..He will rebound!!!

yeah, melo took 31 shots, but he made over 50% of them. huge huge game for melo. possibly his best since he's been here. the boston playoffs game where he had 42pts 17rebs 6ast and the knicks had NOTHING else against boston in game 2 might have been more impressive, but this one feels better.

and, i love jeremy lin, but if jeremy had had either the game today against the bulls or that game melo had against boston in the playoffs, some people on this board and working at sports illustrated would erect a monument to the guy.

melo just had one of the best games of the nba season against the best team in the east. a game that would have knocked them out of the playoffs if they lost (MIL 1/2 game back and owns the tie-breaker, knicks now a full game up) biggest win of the season.

yea, but you have to understand that lin is an underdog story.. it will always be that way...

gotta admit.. lin pretty much saved this season, so that melo's performance today actually mattered... and melo had a great game today..
