I think you have to plug Jeffries into that group. I have blasted him in the past but the guy leaves it all on the floor and aside from some powerhouse shots off the backboard has a positive impact on the court.

third? really.....

at the very least our third scorer and a REAL PLAYMAKER.

Third scorer I'll take but you guys are way too quick to give up on these guys. We have four stars on this team and when they begin to gel it will be incredible.

I'll believe it when I see it....NEITHER play defense.

Now we know we can limit STAT and Melo's minutes and play better D. It's all good that this is happening without them. No way they can not come back and want to blend in rather than try to take over.

Think about what you're saying, Nixluva.
How can we afford to "limit minutes" to two players who eat up 45 million of our cap?
Sorry, I just don't see them fitting in long term.

What I DO see is several key players having more fun without them than with them.

That is up to MDA. He can easily cut back on their minutes since they often play too many minutes anyway. This is a TEAM now and the scrubs are showing that they can get it done playing TEAM ball. STAT and Melo have no choice but to comply. STAT will have no problem really. He's been quiet the entire time we had no PG and he was getting no shots cuz of all the Melo bricks. STAT is NOT a problem in terms of fitting in.

I agree that Stat is less of a problem fitting in than Melo.
But, I am sick of his offensive fouls and lack of commitment on defense.

Forget their salaries, those two need to have their minutes cut to save them some wear and tear. We can go 10-12 deep now, I hope MDA expands his roster a bit.

He needs to man up on D and hit the boards/box out better, hopefully Tyson gets on his azz.

Piece of Cake

Save Amar'es knees.

Watching Jared Jeffries makes one consider a platoon at the four

Give Carmelo the majority Bill Walker's minutes.

Keep Steve Novak in the rotation to spell Carmelo.

I can kinda see your point, but to me, it's not a great business model
limiting minutes to top earners.
Besides, I'll bet that Melo's ego will demand more PT and may escalate into a trade demand
if not granted.
I swear that I'd move them both in the right deal that included draft picks and players who'd match our team play style.
We have a serious young nucleus in Lin/Shump/Jorts/Landry/Jerome and Tyson.
Think about what a tremendous difference adding draft picks and players to that group would make.

Yea that thing is hilarious, cant wait to see Lin vs Rubio tom. Not saying Lin isnt but Rubio is the real deal and it looks to be an awesome comparison matchup.

Had to watch game at work.

Was so busy barely saw any of first half!

But your posts made up for that. Saw all of fourth tho and Man I am as thrilled
As anyone.

This is the most amazing PG play I seen ever as a Knick fan

Can't wait for first A motivated Amare ( May your brother rest in peace)

And then a healthy Melo

I see **** talk bout Melo. But I think we will see the best Melo ever!

Melo with. A pass first PG? Wow we about to bust the **** out!

KNICKS on the way UP!!!
