Yep, that's what you get when you slap a bunch of strangers together and call them a team. We need ball movement and not getting it, relying too much on iso plays.

they hit the shot, you tip your cap to them... what else can you do?

all I have to say is the NBA is really the WWF..... to call that foul on melo was bull shyt..... and then they allow melo to go into hold and grab mold.. I thought the NBA was a progressive league... honestly, it is time to move on.. the knicks outplayed boston, stop letting refs decide games... time to let the teams decide......

We lost this game because of the refs. Plain and simple. Yes, we got out-rebounded. Yes, we shot poorly in the second half. Yes, there were some missed plays.

But despite all these blunders, we still had the game. We still had the W.

That is, until the refs stole it. The offensive foul call on Melo completely took the game from our control and put it in Boston's hands. A terrible, awful call. Something needs to be done.

I hope all of the media, ESPN, Twitter, Simmons, coaches, Mark Cuban explode at this terrible officiating so that the NBA earnestly tries to fix it.

We can't have Carter and Jeffries on the court at the same time, people sag off them and it clogs everything else, hence tougher shots for the three offensive players who left out there. You just CAN'T do that, that was the main reason for the lull on offense.

Honestly I don't know how that happened. It didn't seem like we were burning timeouts...and I didn't even know we didn't have a TO till the last possession. Either bad TV production on MSG's part or a mysteriously misplaced timeout or two...

You can't fault MDA on timeouts. He used them well during the game to stop Boston runs and also regroup the team during those runs. We had our chance, Melo with a chance to win.

yeah, but now we dont have billups, as much as he is crazy with his shots. This teams needs him on the floor, they just look more comfortable with him.

Damn...tough loss.
But at the end of the day I'm still proud of this team Their defense was great and didn't give in when the Celtics tried to clamp down on them .
Amare was just great... We should have deflected to him a bit more at the end when Melo's shot wasn't falling but hell, he's Carmelo Anthony...you can't be mad at him having the ball for the last shot.
And Toney...clearly not afraid to take a big shot...we may need that confidence if Mr. Big Shot is out.
Landry was quiet, but he did a great job on Allen for most of the game.
If we made a better effort on the boards we would have won this.

On to the Nuggets game...Gallo's putting on a show.

Crushing loss, but ultimately the game came down to two shots: their closer hit theirs and ours didn't.

But those are odds you gotta be willing to take all 7 games.

problem is billups can't guard allen through those screens.
I really feel like this is probably it for him, age is not allowing him to heal as fast and he just seems to be having the same injuries over and over again.

Me neither. I'm done on basketball for the night.

Fortunately I flipped to the Yankees on ESPN immediately after, just in time to catch Granderson's 2 run, go ahead shot.

The 2nd half made you really appreciate the job Landry did on Ray in the first half.

Great Play by the Knicks but cant' walk away from this game and not say refs effected this game...I won't say they are the reason we loss but that Offensive foul call with 30 secs left was ridiculous. Disgusting. And Although Toney got Tripped you can't fall on a play like that..Why didn't Dantoni have Landry Fields defending Ray Allen there when he had such a great game.

Also How would you guys say Jefferies play'd...think he hurt us a lot in this game on the Offensive side.

I hope Billups is okay.

i thought to myself why not come in with fields instead of carter when billups goes down. Only thing i could think of was ball control, but landry certainly could have probably put good d on allen. Allen got open for a split second on a trip. Thats all he needs, can't slip/fall in those circumstances. Ray will hit that shot all the time, but we had our chance. Would have liked melo to send it to overtime instead of going for the win by 3, but hey you live with shot.

I thought Jeffries played as good as he could play. Any time he is on the court, he hurts our offense, but he was playing very good D.
He was the reason they had to call timeout. He was Defending rondo and rondo couldn't see to inbound. After timeout, he gets a kick ball, then Doc changes inbound passer. So jefferies was guarding any more. I actually think he should of stayed on the inbound pass.
