There is a GREAT post game interview with Mikal that shows how locked in he is/was - he has been SO GOOD -- want this CHIP for him just as much as anyone. To take such grief most of the season (including from me) and to constantly here about the TRADE for him to turn the ship and particularly on D just snuffing guys out (BEAUTIFUL).

To be able to post on Ultimate Knicks during the NBA Finals in which the New York Knicks are participating and up 2-0 is truly a surreal experience I never thought I would have.

Blessings to you all.

We've all been through the ringer with this franchise. The good, the bad and the ugly - mostly ugly.

I pray for one - just one - and I'll be happy forever.

Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I have been at this forum for many years as a poster but have been a reader since it's been created. Basically I was a " First time caller long term listener " for several years now. This is the best board ever ! Nicest and coolest folks and a cool environment. I used to post at a now defunct Knicks forum that was so toxic and a place where people only went to argue about sports instead of enjoying the Knicks and each posters wit and creativity. Hats off to all the regular posters, your collective sense of humor is the best part of the Knicks experience here !

But if I feel depleted after a win, imagine how San Antonio feels. Knicks players must feel exhausted but peaceful. Spurs players must feel exhausted and dejected. Refs must feel even worse as their plans went down.

This is Alpha's plea for more big girls to be sent his way, I can read the undercurrents

I was just wondering about you! So many old posters are back, but I hadn't seen you post yet. Awesome!

How long before you get banned again?

I concur. This is a much nicer environment than some others. A tussle here and there comes with sports opinions, but overall it is better to err on the side of being civilized. I barely qualify on that count, but I do appreciate the overall tolerance of a diversity of personalities.

That sequence of calls were what I called the sandbagging of KAT to give Wemby a chance

THE ONLY FCKING REASON THE SPURS WERE ABLE TO RALLY WAS BECAUSE THE REFS REMOVED KAT FROM THE GAME.

Otherwise, this would never have been close in the first place

I once watched a zebra foal being born at the zoo and it was amazing, but in spite of that FUCK THE ZEBRAS!

This was shared on RealGM. Not generally a conspiracy theorist, just assume my own bias overlooks a balance of calls/noncalls, but it's vindicating to see other fan bases also calling out some of these outrageous calls.

Doesn't even include the overturned noncall on OG's 3, which we wouldn't have been able to challenge if ball didn't go out of bounds.

The league only reviews the last 2 minutes. And of course, the L2M report for this hame says that the refs got it 100% correct with every call and non call. That in itself makes it look like all the one sided calls and non calls prior to the L2M were calculated. Even better still, SA fans are crying the the refs cost them the game down the stretch

That's awesome. Anyone have Mitch hitting game winning free throws on one of those betting forums???

Question for the rules experts: NBA rescinded the tech on Mitch. What would have been the result if the Spurs won by one point or tied? Would they replay an overtime or award a win?

Well they ain’t changing the score to a 2 point win so maybe that’s your answer

True, but maybe they figured changing the score was moot since Knicks won.

I know it's MLB but we all remember the pine tar game where the league didn't simply say "oops, umps flubbed". they played the game from that point

Popped in after the game. Was a NYT Knicks forum poster and used to post here a bit, but felt like my inability to actually watch the Knicks since moving to VA would have me rely too much on stats and selective replays. But I’ve never stopped watching and supporting the team…while also hating to support Dolan in any way.

Regardless, I’ve been second guessing everything the organization has done in the last few years and can not deny that I LOVE being so wrong. I was one when these guys last won a chip. The memory of Riley calling the wrong number again in ‘94 is still etched in my brain. The ‘99 run was fun, but (as much as I hoped) I was never convinced they would beat the Spurs…I knew they had the ability, it just seemed that everything was favoring the Spurs.

So, here we are, back again…too long a wait, but such a joyous run…except for the officiating. I feel like I am pretty objective despite my desire for the Knicks to win. But these calls remind me of the classic ‘90s Bulls match ups…one sided calls. The league went all in on Jordan and decided having him be the face of the league and its champion was the best way to maximize the brand. Then they seemed to shift this mentality to the Lakers w/ the Shaq and Kobe duo, and then it was all about LeBron…with others allowed share in glory here and there. Now it’s all about Wemby and I feel like I’m just supposed to fall in line. Eff that, he’s not a Knick nor is he the hoops god they claim. He may be one day (and he may not), but not now…

Super eager for tonight…Will drop this in the thread for it as well.
