I met somebody years ago that tried to stop a couple of smaller breeds from fighting with each other. Lost a thumb in the process.

I guess
Anything is possible but wtf. What two smaller breeds ?

What I remember is a multiple dog household, same breed.

The moral of the story is don’t underestimate the business end of any animal. And if trying to separate them, consider an air horn or other loud noise, or using an object like a chair or trash can lid inserted between them, for example.

Even better, avoid situations that can lead to heightened aggression in the first place.

Did he try to break up the fight with peanut butter and bacon on his fingers ? Sorry couldn't help it.

Dog dad here and you never stick your hand in a dog fight! Always go for the collar! Those teeth are razor sharp and even a small bread dog can hurt you!

This should be more of a story. People bag on him for years and now he is healthy no one is saying much of anything in the media.

Beagles are the sweetest dog. Sad to hear they are breed for animal research because they are so docile and they tolerate lots of pain. Any dog people out there try to adopt one from those animal research labs when they make them available. My late beagle Abbi, was a joy and helped my daughter when she was going thru teenage depression. Beagles are very empathetic and just live their family. Every time you come home from work or even the store after a few minutes they greet you like your greatest thing in the world. Cavaliers are great dogs too ! But Beagles may have the biggest hearts of all dogs

I thought maybe Aaron was hanging with Draymond and got bit.
Had a Beagle as a kid. My mom was never good at picking dogs out. That was one ignorant animal and bad fit for an apartment in Queens with young kids. Had to get rid of it. Final straw? Dog took a **** on back shelf of 1968 Pontiac sedan on the Grand Central Parkway. This after being taken for a walk in the park.

Me? I currently have a 13.5 year old Belgian Malinois we had since a pup. Amazing dog but now retired from his bad ass ways. Very sweet now. Never bit anyone but we had some scary moments from time to time years ago. Won't get another. Have a grand baby on the way and I understand the breed now and how fortunate we were. I need an easier dog next time when ever that time comes. We put a lot of time training him. Best dog I ever had and likely won't be exceeded. Rock star frisbee dude, and he'd do anything I tell him to do.
He'd do anything for me, and in turn, one day I might have to return the favor even it it breaks my heart.
He has some issues now but we are just enjoying him and won't put him thru medical procedures to prolong life if it diminishes his quality. His quality is great now. still plays ball and enjoys his doggie things.

Beagles are hard to house break as are most scent hounds. Maybe the dog was sick. My beagle was doing that at the end and s a little later she started having tremors and we found out she had cancer anyway all breeds of dogs probably have some one who loves them like crazy. Next dog I want will be a poodle standard size or a Pomeranian. I always laughed at guys with small dogs but they are best for my family. My wife loves Huskies but too much work. I just hope Aaron Gordon didn't get hit because he mistreated the dog

That's 28 straight losses for Detroit! I don't think I'd wish 28 straight on my worst enemy. Well, except Miami, LeBron, KD, Kyrie, Trae, and Harden!

Highly recommend dachshunds! Awesome dogs! Very sweet and easy! Ended up with my mom's shih tzu too and she's another sweetheart! Dogs should always match your energy and life style as much as possible. Do your research and adopt!

Too many awesome dogs stuck in shelters. Some for months or years.

Some in cold loud uncomfortable conditions right now.

Visit a shelter or two, and your next dog will pick YOU.

I attempted to adopt dogs 3 xs 10;years ago my family was rejected 3 s in NYC. I own a house, and went with my wife and daughter. We were told we were not experienced, since we never had a dog before and we worked full time. 3 shelters so we bought a dog.
