I'm hoping either Walker, Black or Hendricks fall if we nab 11. This might be the one year where I wouldn't mind if the Knicks punted to a future first rounder. Of course, the guy who does get picked 11 goes on to become a multi-year All Star. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.

He’s a big guard who will need the ball in his hands. I try to picture how he fits in a second unit with Quickley, Hart and Hartenstein. I guess it could be okay, but would prefer the Knicks focus on a bigger wing/ forward and/ or shooting wing. Drafting him would also effectively eliminate any real possibility of Jokubaitis playing here since he’s another lead guard. But if he’s considered the best player available so be it. |

![]() Have to wonder if this pick does land in the 11-14 range that the Knicks will just deal to the highest bidder for a hart-level player to replace Toppin. If they had this pick in the late teens to 20s they could just draft a player like Quickley or Grimes to develop with no expectation of a rotation spot. But once you get into the lottery it’s a different value and expectation. Knicks can trade the pick for a good player regardless of position. Thibs clearly has no confidence in Toppin and is fine playing Barrett/ Hart at PF. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Tonight’s game should leave little doubt as to the depth of this squad and the elite nature of Jalen Brunson’s offense. I could see some offseason action to tighten up the 9-10 man rotation. I think Randle might benefit from a couple games to recover and watch the play on the court without him. The ball movement is more pronounced. I can’t think of a player that just comes in like jHart at the 4 though. I mean, you basically are just looking for a younger Taj. A guy like Larry Nance kind of fits that mold but I don’t think he costs a lotto pick. I might be looking at a trade of Barrett, Fournier and picks for Ingram and Nance. No real rush to make a move though. Brunson/McBride You know I gonna spin wit it
